I had someone tell me on facebook today that she was glad her daughters were older now and didn't have to be made to be put through it. I thought that was an odd comment. I like that Claire does it, but it's up to her. I wasn't even going to do it at first but she insisted this was the one thing she wanted to do. And I am going to let her be a little girl as long as she wants to be.

Well, I'm not glad Allison is older, but I never made her do it. She always loved that stuff when she was young. She started not being into it around the age of 9. It was then the visits to BBB stopped. If she asked again, perhaps for the punk princess treatment, I'd sign up her up in a heartbeat!

I am soooo loving it. I have a 2 year old great niece who appears to like Disney Princesses. I hope whwn she is older that they take her to BBB. So glad Abby enjoyed it. All 3 girls look lovely!!!!

It's really fun to see the girls getting it done. There was a little girl a few chairs away from Claire who was crying and her sister was right next to Claire. The sister was so worried about her. It was so precious. I think they were twins, about 4 or 5. The one crying was just worried about where her Mom went as she had walked around a bit, and the other sister kept giving her comforting words.

I can TOTALLY see Catie in little Abby's face! I'm thinking they must be cut from the same cloth!!!!! This is all good information for me to have!!!!!

Stubborn and adorable is always such a good combo...well not always for their mother though.

We laughed so hard at the expressions her face made. And Claire sat there like she was such a pro at it and Alexis was really serious.

I am glad too. It made for some good stories for the family. She was so cute walking around in her fancy do and dress. She looked like a mini princess.

I know. My older DD Paige, might've done it once if they had it then, but it wasn't her type of thing so much, (though I had her hair done for my wedding to Skip and she was around 10 and she informed me her hair looked much better than mine. I was totally shocked she went right in and sat down. Gail just kept saying, we'll go as far as we can till she wants down.
She will have a good laugh some day when she is older and looks at these pictures.

This is one of my all time favorite pictures from that trip. With the placement of Tink it looks like she was mad at her and telling her to scram.

Well I can honestly say Claire gets it from me ...but Gails girls are both adopted, so technically it's not genetic. But it is so funny how much both of them act like me at times when I was a kid. And Claire tends to act more like Gail did.
Not too long ago Alexis was doing something she shouldn't have been doing, I don't even remember what it was, but Gail told her that she was "acting just like Aunt BopBop" and Alexis answered her "I take that as a compliment"..... yay Alexis!

So true. No they are not biological sisters at all. I think Abby has 2 biological siblings though. Her biological parents had given another child up for adoption then kept one and then had her and decided to give her up too. It's kind of crazy, but I am sure glad they did. Gail got both girls the day they were born. They looks quite a bit alike too and they both look very much like Rob. A while back someone told me how much Claire and Alexis look like each other too, only one had brown hair and brwon eyes and the other blonde and blue eyed. I had to laugh, because they kind of do at times.

Alexis picked out the red extension because she wanted to look like Ariel with her mermaid dress on.







That scab on the side of her face is from her pirate tattoo. She kept picking at it till it came off which resulted in a scab as well.







I guess everyone was making a face at one point in time.















I guess this must’ve hurt a bit.



Abby does love to get her nails painted.

Claire picked her hair color too. How ironic that it is the same as Alexis. Now for months before we traveled, Claire and I would take walks and during our walks we would talk about the trip. She had decided she was going to do a different hairstyle this time, the Pop princess. The one with the funky spikey colorful hair. I really don’t care which style she chooses because this is for her and I want her to be happy and have a good experience. So when she chose this style I did intervene a bit. I just wanted to be sure since she had talked about the other style for so long. But she insisted this is what she wanted and I said ok.

Paige gave Claire a few choices on how to wear her hair piece.









They settled for on top of the head.



Abby is still allowing them to work on her. For some reason they had issues with making her bun and it was redone a few times to get it right.



This jewel didn’t last long at all. I am pretty sure she picked it off not long afterwards. I don’t blame her. It would drive me nuts too.



Checking to see if her nails are dry. Abby does love to get her nails painted.



Alexis is making progress.

Claire swore her choice of red had nothing to do with Alexis at all. She wanted to look like Merida.







Well look who is done. Alexis is waiting for some pixie dust.

they all had a good time. It was money well spent. When you see how much joy it brings them it makes you feel good. Plus we had a good laugh with all the faces they made.
