Can anyone please provide feedback on stateroom 9510 for the fantasy, or for rooms in that general vicinity. I know it is near the laundry, and we are wondering about the noise level in that area of the ship. Looking forward to our 2nd cruise next year, and we are just trying to finalize our room selection.

Have you checked the Room Reports on the Staterooms tab in the red bar above?

I did, and there is only one review. I was hoping some people would be able to provide more info. Thank you for your suggestion.

We stayed in 9000, which was on the other side of ship, but I did visit the laundry room. Reviews I read from people who have stayed in 9500 (right across from the laundry) did not have any noise complaints. I think 9510 would be down far enough so it would be a non-issue. Hopefully this helps a little!

Well, actually, the Dream configuration is identical, so there really 2 there.

Maybe do a search for Disney Fantasy 9510, you'll get some other hits.

We just stayed in 9510 on the Fantasy in May and loved it! It is very forward, but we couldn't tell any difference in the movement of the ship from midship v. our room. It was a really great location. We took the forward stairs a lot, especially going just a quick 2 flights up to 11 to the pool, drink station, & Cabanas. Also, the Walt Disney Theater is forward. The forward elevators were rarely crowded like the midship ones.

As far as the inside of the room, we were pleasantly surprised with the storage space and found we had enough drawers, shelves, and closet space for all 4 of us: me(DW), DH, DS(16), & DS(7). The boys (and us) really enjoyed the huge porthole window and seat and being on the side of the boat that looks out onto all of the ports. The room was extremely quiet. There's not much foot traffic in this area and little to no noise in the hallway where you can actually hear it in your room. We did a few loads of laundry during the week, so it was very nice to be that close to the laundry room.

I don't know if you have kids, but in case you do, DSs were quite comfy in the bunk/pull down beds. We also enjoyed having the split bath and round tub.

We were so happy with 9510 & agreed that we will book it again next time, which will hopefully be in 2 years!

If you have any other questions, I'll be happy to try to answer them. I stressed and stressed about our room selection and changed it about 4 times before I stuck with 9510, so I understand!

AnnaKate,

Thank you so much for the information. That was exactly the type of info I needed. My DW really wanted stateroom 9010, but it wasn't available. It did become available and we were able to switch. I'm very thankful for the information though for future reference.

I booked a cruise on the Fantasy in stateroom 9510 because my daughter wanted the porthole with a seat. Last cruise we had a balcony room. Could you tell me how many beds are in stateroom 9510 on the Fantasy. Some places say 3-5. Is there a bunk that pulls down from the ceiling and a murphy bed that is in the wall/cabinet that pulls down? None of the sties explain this. they all say some have or may have....

Thanks

.... Could you tell me how many beds are in stateroom 9510 on the Fantasy. ....

This 8b OV cabin sleeps 4 max. It has the pull down ceiling bunk. It does not have the wall murphy. So it has a queen, couch bed, ceiling bunk.

HTH
