Staying at Riverside : Show me pics, get me excited!!

Haha! Yep, your kiddin! I hope someone has one that I can use!!! I am going to hate not having that in my book...
 


We are staying at riverside the end of august for the first time in a royal guest room garden view ! Cant wait it will also be our first stay at a moderate we normally stay value or DVC never done in between always said we were going to but it never worked out :)
 
POR is a nice resort. We always stay there as we need room for 5. We will be there July 21-27. I like it because you can hop on a boat to go DTD. The kids love the big pool and slide. The food court at POR has a large assortment of things to eat which seems to satisfy my family's diverse food choices. I am not fond of Boatwright's though. It seems to be over priced for the quality of the food. POR is spread out and has attractive paths for walking or running.

Completely agree! I miss that resort.
 
I have to agree. POR is great! Have visited other resorts, but since we have stayed so much at POR, it really is like home to us. Will be there in 27 more days!! WhooHoo!
 
We love POR we stayed in the new remodeled room in. AB this past December. The kids loved the pull down Murphy type bed and rotated night sleeping in it. We love POR for the peacefulness if it, after a long day at the parks we have a nice wind down stroll back to our room. This last trip we did opt for a preferred room and it was worth it to be a short walk to the pool, food, and bus depot. Sadly we the kids are growing out of the room size and so I am researching deluxe resort for our next stay.
 
Ok, my photos CAN'T Compare to some here, Esp Pizzaman's, BUT, I am going to toss a couple of for the next couple days, because I remember how AWESOME it was to look forward to people's photos, and how it kept me 'fed' until my trip, especially in the last month or two.

We had a Sky writer, and we watched for like 45 mins, but, this picture pretty much sums up our trip to POR....


 
First thanks for the pictures. We're heading back at the end of September, for the second time. I'm so looing forward to going back, it's as pretty as I remember. Now, I know that the parks will be decorated for Halloween but will the resort? And if it is, does anyone have any pictures of POR decorated for Halloween? Would love to see some. Thanks
