Incorrect name on deed transfer Indian River county website

I have been watching the Indian River County website to see when our deed shows up. (We closed 8 days ago on a VB contract) Well it showed up today and there are 2 entries - one shows the previous owners names then the transfer to ours - this one is correct but then directly below it it shows Disney listed and then our names and my husbands name is incorrect - it shows Rich and it should be Rick. I'm not sure if this is going to cause a problem or not. Should I just wait to see what shows up on our Disney membership or should I call the title company and see if they can get it corrected or if it even needs to be corrected? I hate the idea of anything getting delayed any longer - I'm anxious to get our first reservation made!

We just had another thread with the same basic info. You should call your broker AND DVC member admin. You'll need an amended deed recorded. Your biggest risk is that they may make it a totally separate contract when you were planning on them adding it to your current contract.

Even better. Just have the closing company record the deed correctly and send the corrected copy to DVC. No big deal in this situation.

This is our first contract

As Dean said contact member administration and have them fix it - if you should add on later you want it to be the correct spelling of the names. I would call tomorrow morning!
