Short Run near Old Key West?

Heading down for a quick trip and staying at OKW. Anyone have a short, 3 mile running route I could do in the morning?

There are plenty of places to run at OKW. You could do close to 3 miles just by running the sidewalks around the entire complex. However, I recommend that you ask for directions to the path the connects OKW to SSR. It's a very peaceful run and you can actually run all the way past the treehouse villas and to the central registration area of SSR. You can even run towards Congress Park and great a great view of DTD!

Yes, this path is great! It's kind of hard to find at first. It's near the back of the resort. We rented bikes at OKW during our last trip in February. We were able to take the path through the golf course, to SSR and you could even go to DTD as well ( we got rained out so we headed back). Such a beautiful ride! I'm a Runkeeper user and I've found it great for finding routes for running in new areas. You can sort submitted routes by location, distance and pace.

I love running the OKW / SSR / DTD area. That's one of the real plusses of staying on that part of property for me.
