FL resident rate for June 13, 20, 27 (3 night) $2049 for category 5 (most available 5A, 5C, etc)

How many passengers is that for?? That's still expensive. We did a 3-night last year 2A 1C FLR Rates in a 5A for $1200!!! That is expensive for a 3-night even without FLR Rates - yikes!!!

Dang! I noticed it Monday morning. It was not there Sunday. I wonder when it sold out? Wow!

Edited. I posted on Tuesday so that must be when I noticed it. Wasn't there Monday for sure. I checked every day after the final payment date.
I have a screen shot of the VGT still being offered at 10:19am on 5/31. It was gone when my co-worker checked at 2:30pm.

FYI - Just saw that there are VGT rates for the Dream through Aug. 15 sailing.

I saw that.

VGT for Dream 8/1, 4, 8, 11 & 15

I think it's looking pretty good for VGT rates for September. This morning "my" cruise was priced at $1305. It was $1315 when I booked in February with the onboard credit offer -- got $100 obc from Disney for booking. I could pay with my Disney Visa and get $50, so I really got only $50 extra with that deal. I wonder how low the VGT (I'd even take OGT or IGT, probably) would be? If it was $1265 I'd break even, anything lower and I'd save money. Hmmm...I probably couldn't save enough to make it worth having to cancel what I have and play the waiting game though. :upsidedow

Anyone know what last year's VGT rates were for September 4 nights?

Seems like right now vgts are running at the same rate as the regular rate of the lowest avail interior on the same sailing. Of course I could be wrong...

I have been tracking the I O VGT's in an excel spreadsheet for a couple of months now. I'm pretty sure I have seen VGT's about $200-$300 less than insides. I am hopeful for September.

Thank you! That is quite helpful to me and gives me some idea of what I might expect to see for September. When I checked this morning the lowest inside rate was $210 less than I am paying for a 7A gty.

Part of my dilemma is that I am using a TA (Dreams). I am concerned that when I see the rate/cruise I want, by the time I contact her and she books it, the rate will have disappeared. :headache:

Still, I always enjoy planning and changing and re-planning my WDW trips. Not really having anything to plan for the cruise portion is bugging me LOL. The thought of the excitement of repeatedly checking for -GT rates appeals to me haha. Of course, the thought of ending up with no cruise at all does not appeal to me. :rotfl:

Have your TA put you on a wait list for the date that you want the VGT for. Give them your CC # so they are ready to book it as soon as it comes out and so that you don't miss it.

I didn't know that could be done! Thanks! :goodvibes

It's 2A 2C. I think it's expensive, too, but I prefer to sail off-season so my idea of a good rate for January is different than a good rate in July!

Yeah - our rate was in Feb 2012. I'm not into 3-night sailings, but sheesh that's a chunk of change for a 3-night DISCOUNTED rate......

Thanks for replying :)

We got an IGT for late August 2012 for the Dream, but have not seen any IGT for this summer. Is that your observation also? Thanks.

So far, all I have seen for August are VGTs on the Dream, 3 and 4 night sailings through August 15th. Hope that helps...

Thanks. Have you seen IGT or OGT at all for the Dream for 2013? Thanks again.

April 7, 2013 Bahamas - 4 Night OGT $2,732.88
April 7, 2013 Bahamas - 4 Night IGT $2,580.88

Price based on 2 adults and 2 children.
I started tracking in the beginning of April 2013. Next year the spreadsheet may be useful...

That's all that I have seen. Mostly all VGTs. :thumbsup2

Many thanks. I guess the inside and ocean view cabins are selling well for the summer. I think we will jump on the VGT for our late summer cruise if and when it becomes available, :-).

I see that on May 31, VGT rates went online for the Dream through the August 15 sailings.

If we are looking at the Oct 6 and Oct 13 Dream sailings, is there any historical perspective about the date when *GT rates will become available? The 90-day PIF for those sailings will be in early July. Likewise, is there any historical perspective about what time these rates come online? 9am eastern?

For October, I would start looking for *GT dates around mid-to late July. The *GT rates usually come out after 75 days prior to the sailing. So find out the PIF date for your sailings and start looking after that date.
