Breakfast on the dream

What is your favorite place for breakfast? I know people talk about cabanas, can you eat in the other restaurants?

Yes, at least one of the main restaurants (usually the Royal Court/Palace) is open for a sit down breakfast and food is served a la carte.

For me though, I found that the buffet had a better selection and fresher food for breakfast than the table service. It was like the food had all been pre-plated and rewarmed.

The main dining room for lunch was awesome though! :thumbsup2

the dinning rooms had NO appeal to me at breakfast. I loved the fact that I could sit out on the deck that is attached to cabanas and watch the ocean as I ate breakfast at a table there. the view is so beautiful, calming and a great way to start the day. you don't get that at home. :)

On the Fantasy, Royal Court was open for breakfast as a sit-down, order off a menu and be served restaurant. Enchanted Garden was open as a buffet restaurant that also offered made to order items (I believe there was an omelet station.) And then Cabanas was open for breakfast as a buffet. Animator's Palate was not open for breakfast. I imagine it's the same on the Dream!

You don't get your normal server at breakfast or lunch, right?

It's a possibility, if it's their day to serve breakfast or lunch in the MDR you choose to go to.

Here's a description of who's serving where/when I save from another thread:

On Royal Court/Palace/Tritons/Lumiere’s day, CMs do breakfast, lunch & dinner, unless it’s on Castaway Cay day, then they are doing lunch at Cookies. On their Animators day, they work Cabanas/Topsiders/BBB breakfast & lunch. On Enchanted Garden/Parrot Cay day, they do all 3 meals. On the last AM, Palo servers work the buffet so that your server can serve the breakfast in the MDR.

I know cabanas is a buffet on the dream but I'm not sure about royal palace and enchanted garden on the dream I'm not sure if breakfast is offers in them places???

while it is possible it is unlikely. your normal servers work all over the ship during times other than evening dinning. you may see them serving at cabanas or one of the quick service venues or, as your asking, one of the dinning rooms for breakfast or lunch.

Just got off the Dream last week. Royal was not open for breakfast. Animators was sit down service and also had wait staff come by with plates of krispy kreme donuts and croissants. Enchanted was buffet but they fit me eggs Benedict

That's odd. We had two breakfasts at Royal Palace back in April. Benedict was OK.

just off deam Thursday, no meals besides dinner in AP except last day. RP had menu breakfast & lunch. EG had buffet breakfast & I think lunch but it was pretty much same food as Cabanas. honestly breakfast in MDR wasn't that great and besides the strawberry soup @ lunch it was just ok

We ate breakfast once at Enchanted on the Dream but after that we were back at Cabanas we preferred sitting out on the deck esp in the a.m.

We will stick with cabanas no matter wht we like eating on the deck!! It's awesome... Now I have 8 months to wait to enjoy that again
