So, what is everyone here having for breakfast today?

For me it was a 2-egg white (liquid egg whites) omelet with mushrooms and a tablespoon of salsa on top, along with 2 strips of turkey bacon, and 1/2 cup strawberries and blackberries.

Boiled egg and piece of toast, on the go today! Yours sounds super!

Zone bar (peanut butter), and a big glass of water. I love the zone bars - when eaten with water, they are very filling and easily hold me over until lunch time - even with my morning runs.

I had cottage cheese and pineapple and coffee. Not my best effort but a whole heck of an improvement for me! I added south beach quiche cups and tomato juice at lunch to round it out a bit.

I just love this thread so much. Dinner is so complicated and lunch needs vary so much. But breakfast can be simple and easy to answer and everyone's ideas can be easy to incorporate and try out too. Let's keep this up!

Today was a homemade yogurt parfait. 1 C of nonfat unsweetened greek yogurt (with vanilla and stevia), topped with some homemade rhubarb sauce and strawberries and a handful of FiberOne twigs for fiber and crunch! Coffee with skim on the side, of course.;) ..............P

Bagel with butter today. I desperately need to go to the grocery store but have to take the kids to preschool first.

Bah!

Good morning breakfast buddies! ;)

This morning I had 2 turkey sausage links, 1 serving fat free turkey deli meat, 1 Babybel mini cheese round, and a quarter cup blackberries. Plus I had one serving sugar free vanilla caramel creamer in my coffee. Total of 6 points.

Same breakfast - my staple - peanut butter Zone bar and a huge glass of water. For lunch I had a delicious (home made) tuna salad, with tomatoes, onions and pickles. :goodvibes

I'm jumping in :)

I wasn't hungry this morning, so I had an Odwalla Blueberry B Fruit Smoothie drink at work. Lunch was a salad from Panera. I love their summer salads, especially the Strawberry Poppyseed Salad :)

Mmmmm, that salad sounds wonderful! I love salads, and do eat a lot of them (a big one almost daily for lunch). I am on Coumadin (blood thinner) but I'm not going to give up my salads, so they have to adjust my dosage to work with my salads. :)

I had a really good one a few days ago, it was called Michigan Apple & Goat Cheese Salad. Lots of different greens, half a Granny Smith apple in thin slices, Bermuda onion, dried apple chips, glazed walnuts, goat cheese (I'd never had it before, it's delicious!) with a house made champagne vinaigrette dressing. I just wish we lived closer to the restaurant so I could have another one! :(

That salad sounds delicious! I adore goat cheese and apples and onions together are a great combo. I think I might try to recreate this one!

Breakfast today is our usual Saturday morning 2part breakfast. Since DD and I leave the house early for the Y (5:30 am), we have a bit before and a bit after. This morning the before was an apple crumb Vitamuffin and some pineapple chunks, with a cup of coffee with skim....too much sugar and no protein. I usually do better but we were rushing. Not sure what the "after" will be yet, since we aren't going directly home. Probably either an egg white veggie wrap from Dunkins or a 3" egg white flatbread from Subway. .................P

I had a large banana to go with my Zone bar for breakfast this morning.

A quick snack of a piece of whole wheat bread before going running. Afterwards, a reward smoothie: frozen mango & strawberries, frozen blueberries from last year's garden, fresh orange juice (oranges from the tree in the front yard, picked 10 minutes before squeezing), half a banana, organic nonfat plain yogurt, crushed ice, and one packet of Truvia. Yum!!!!!! :goodvibes

This morning I had a packet of sugar free apples and cinnamon oatmeal, along with 2 turkey breakfast sausage links and one serving of sugar free vanilla caramel creamer in my coffee - total of 6 points.

For lunch I had a Smart Ones Spaghetti with Meat Sauce - 6 points.

Last night we went to Ruby Tuesday's for dinner - they have a lot of healthy options (and I went to their website and got all the nutritional information and figured out the WW points for each item that sounded like something I would want to order). I ended up having the blackened tilapia with mango salsa, grilled green beans and a dinner salad loaded with several kinds of lettuce and lots of fresh vegetables and a bit of Italian dressing. 10 points total, so I did end up using a few of my weekly extra points but that's what they're for so I didn't feel guilty. :)

2 cups of coffee and a liter of water

I do IF so ill get all my calories in a 4-5 hour window later in the day. Sounds weird, but it works great for me.

Kippers for breakfast.

Unless the cat catches them like this one lol...

That salad sounds delish! I love salads, too. But, my homemade salads never taste as good as restaurant salads lol.

I love Subway 3" flatbreads. In fact, I have to try to avoid Subway as I drive past it daily & I would stop daily if I could lol.

I'm having a bowl of granola this morning. Nothing exciting here :)

Today was a grilled low carb roll (similar to a Sandwich Thin) shmeared with a tablespoon of cashew butter. My toaster went to the dump a few weeks ago and I am really missing it, but grilling was a good alternative. Coffee with skim on the side, of course. I'll have fruit in a bit as a mid-morning snack........P
