Hi Adgie! Glad to hear that this thread has been helpful to you! While the live reports are obviously the key ingredient for the success of this thread, I feel that the readers' posts (comments, questions, etc.) are extremely important too. I think it would get rather boring for both me and our reporters without that feedback from the readers. So thank you for coming out of lurkdom to post!

And now for Nicole's update from her dinner last night at...


























"We started with some drinks. I got the Lapu Lapu, it was strong! But I really enjoyed it and once it was stirred up, it went down smooth!"



An inside look...







"My stepdad had the Back Scratcher, sadly they were out of the actual back scratchers that come in the drink but he still enjoyed it. My mom ordered the Island Sunset I believe, she liked it too! We also had the pomegranate lemonade, I loved it!"

















"Then we moved onto the bread, delicious! We went to ask for more but I warned my family and so did the waiter of the amount of food we were about to get so they passed!"









"Also the sweet and sour and peanut sauces were brought out, we all loved them both."






And the salad...








"I don't eat pork but everyone else loved the pot stickers, especially Jeff! Out came the noodles and vegetables but I forgot to take a pic because we all went for them and again loved them."















"They brought the chicken out, it was very good, perfectly cooked."








"Next was pork, I missed it because I was doing the parade thing with Ava. I thought the whole thing was really cute, but it's kind of long for parents of children who don't go up on their own! When I got back I had some steak, also good."













"And then shrimp, my favorite!"







"And then the amazing bread pudding! Oh my we all adored this, even Jeff and he doesn't usually go for bread pudding. It was delicious!"












"Ava also got a birthday cupcake and we sang, she didn't cry this time."








"It was a great meal! A lot of food but all very good." ​

Now for our First Update of the Day, sent to us by Paula (smile4stamps) from the Swan, where she is currently staying and attending a conference.


First some pics of the food which was provided.


Here's breakfast from Thursday morning (the 1st day of the conference)...






Paula said, "I was expecting just bagels and toast and cereal so was delighted to see real food!"






Then on Friday morning,

"Another decent breakfast..




"Looks like an egg and potato."




"The Afternoon snack..









"A yummy blend of popcorn, peanut m&m's, pretzels and mixed nuts!"





"The hors d'ouevres served on Friday...





"Bruschetta "shot" teriyaki skewer, vegetable quesadilla and seafood dumpling. All are pretty good! They keep refreshing them so they stay warm and fresh."





"This morning's breakfast is much the same...





"Fresh fruit, roasted red potatoes, scrambled eggs, bacon and pastries.. It's nice to start with a good breakfast. The only complaint I have is the eggs are "wet", I imagine it's so those that are later are not super dry."​

When I had mine the other day they had 3 varieties. The pink one, the traditional Lemon one and the Grand Marnier.

I had the grand mariner one this afternoon and only 2 options were available unless in completely missed it.

You are welcome. I enjoyed staying at the Swan. My only complaint is the "musty" smell. It was really bad in my first room and its still there in my current room if the air conditioning isn't always running. I would advise bringing a small bottle of febreeze or some other room deodorizer. Someone else said that a lot if the rooms are like that because the bathrooms don't have fans so the moisture hangs out in the room.

Awesome updates!!

Poor Ava with the birthday tune! I love LTT but don't especially need more plastic in my diet - glad they took care of that little mistake!

I wanted to see a great Big River Grille review since it is a tempting option when stay at BW area but I'd be a bit disappointed as well with that burger. Not sure why they can't do med-rare... internal policy?

As for the sangria at VN, I think Paula left to get on the boat and may have been singing yo ho yo ho with her little drinky poo! Great job Paula!
