I believe Kathy will be continuing to follow some PTR and TR here on the Dis. As for writing our own PTR or TR that will not be happening. There are NUMEROUS PTR and TR of a personal nature that have been left to run amuck. It seems as if the moderators are targeting a select number of individuals. It really is to bad because many people were enjoying this PTR over 16,ooo views and Ms Kathy has posted over 35,000 times. Such a shame.....

I am sad that Kathy seemed to be targeted. I know I have open PTRs from 2010. Why? Makes no sense that they were not automatically closed. Now...a lot of my TRs were closed. I would find it hard not to take it personally...


I just hope to continue to see you around, Kathy!!!

Why wouldn't they just move it to the community board and notify everyone - I have seen them move a PTR to a TR board before with no problem. So sorry Kathy. With so many moving to FB already, you would think that they would want to keep their loyal writers here so there are more people to click on the ads.

My trip report was closed because they felt I was done with my trip portion and that the report had become nothing more than personal. I have no problems with this if they were consistent with everyone. Therefore, I am ending my doing reports here on the DIS. I will post updates on my FB account. If you are not friends with me there and wish to be so you can continue to see wedding updates, trip updates, send me a friend request (also send me a message so I know who is asking) and I will accept the request.

Me too Rosie! Since FB has gone crazy with changing personal security during "updates," unknown to the user, and exposing personal info to anyone until you just happen to catch it, I have almost completely quit FB myself (would say completely quit but I did log on recently because there was something I needed to look for).

Kathy - I really hope you will come back to the DIS. I do not like that your TR was closed down, but I don't want you to abandon this one. I already told you how I feel.

Your TRs are a source of inspiration for a lot of people. You will most certainly be missed. I hope after you spend time thinking about this you will come back. Think of all the good you created. The good here on the boards definitely outweighs the bad.

THANK YOU ALL VERY MUCH. I am NOT leaving the DIS unless they throw me off. I will still be following all of your TR's, PTR's, etc. and posting on them. I may or may not add a trip report to this once we get back. The PTR was basically done anyway, and I've got a lot of last minute stuff to do for the wedding, including the shower and bachelorette party next weekend. I wouldn't have time for many updates anyway. I continue to post a countdown to the wedding on Facebook and in our "new group" on FB.

TRIP RELATED NEWS: I am all packed except for my make-up and curling iron, brush etc. Mary and her friend (who is there part of our time) are putting in a grocery order today for arrival when we get to the Beach Club. We will be at Disney in 11 days.

Hopefully when everything settles down a little you will have time to reconsider! No need to let their decision be punishment for your many readers who enjoy your TRs and PTRs. So much going on with the trip and the wedding! Hope they all go perfectly for you!

Congrats on being at single digits! That's the longest 9 days ever...especially when the trip seems to fly by!

So while we wait for Mary to do her Epcot must-do's, I'll fill you in on my day.

I woke up this morning and my ankle gave way; it did not want me to stand on my foot at all. It took a good 10 minutes to get going.

I had hurt my foot about three weeks ago while mulching, but the other side of the foot.

The last week or so it's been feeling like the ankle was going to give, but didn't. Well this morning it sure did. I went to work in a cab because I couldn't handle the walk.

I called the doctor and she told me to come in. They said it was a little swollen and sent me for an x-ray. Luckily, it is not fractured. They have me wrapped and taking Aleve with my foot elevated. If not better on Friday, I have to go to an ortho guy and maybe get a MRI. I will tell you this...I WILL be dancing at my son's wedding.

Eek Kathy! I didn't realize you hurt yourself! I missed all of these updates (we just returned from Disney!!).

Listen to you dr. and rest that foot! Is it feeling better yet? You poor thing!

Oh no! Kathy, that stinks! I love your TR's, I really do. Where else can I see Mark in 1,000 crazy hats? Are you sure? Maybe take some time to dwell on this decision, I know you're upset about them closing your TR down and the reasoning behind it. Luckily I'm friends with you on Facebook but still, reading your TR's here is fun.

Also, loving all the pics (both here and on FB) of Mark and Alisha! They're too darn cute I tell ya. I'm sure they are so excited about the upcoming wedding. It seems like just last week that you shared their engagement story and now the wedding is nearly here! I'll pray that your foot heals quickly so that you can dance the night away at Mark's wedding. Hang in there Kathy.
