Hi all!!!
I am so ready to jump into my first ever PTR!! I hope you all will join me :wave2: There will be cute kids, lots and lots of planning, and I am sure a bunch of indecisiveness on my part.
So let me get right to it and tell you a little bit about my sweet family!

I am Jaisa a 27 year old stay at home mom to the darn sweetest boys ever! I had no clue I was a Disney lover until last year. Our first trip was amazing and I fell fast and hard for the house of the mouse. It was love at first stay! pixiedust:
Besides being slightly addicted to Disney and Dis I really, really love spending time with my family. We like to fish, swim, do day trips to the zoo, parks and museums. We are goer's you know that stay at home mom that is actually never at home, yep that's me! My family is my world I can't wait for you all to get to know them.
My Disney favorites profile
Park- Magic Kingdom
Ride- Soarin
Character- I am really loving Venellopee
Restaurant-Kona (so far we have only tried 7)

That guy accompanying me in the very up close, odd angled photos is my dear DH Dan! What can I say my five year old is a budding photographer and we take what we can get. Not the best photo but.... it's what I got! LOL.
DH and I have been married for 7 years. When we got married in college everyone kind of turned up their nose and shook their head and said what the *bleep ba bleep bleep* are they thinking. But it has turned out just wonderful! One of the best decision we ever made ;) Dan is a super hard worker. He works really looonngg days as a Counselor coordinator in a juvenile placement. He works with staff that counsel over 300 juvenile criminal in house offenders on all the really hard important topics like addiction, anger management and suicide prevention. He is built to do what he does. He is also an absolutely awesome dad! I am blessed.
Park- Magic Kingdom
Ride- TSM
Character- He's not really a character guy
Restaurant- Chef Mickey

Now on to those cute kids I promised you...

Carter is our five year old lover boy. He is so, so sweet. He loves all things Star wars and all things legos... oh and star wars legos, yep that is what makes him thrilled now a days. He amazes me with his lego building ability, those things can stump me! LOL. We will get him to see Star wars weekends sometime. I am hoping next June :goodvibes He is just a really fun kid. He works really hard at all the things he does, he has his moments but all in all he is just the biggest blessing. His other loves in life are karate and tball. He does so well in both even though he is the smallest kid out there every time.
Carters Disney Favorites Profile
Park- Magic Kingdom
Ride- Jedi Training (I know more of an attraction or show)or IASW
Character- Stich (or Captin Rex but he has not gotten to meet him in park)
Restaurant- Chef Mickey

Owen is my two year old baby boy! Yes I will always call him my baby. He was 18 months on our last trip and he spent most of the time with his eyes wide. I can not wait for him to see Buzz and Woody this year he loves all things Toy Story. He is one tough little guy. He has an eye condition that is reoccurring, he just had surgery and never cried or whined during the whole process. He is a wild life lover who really thinks he can keep up with the big kids.
I will wait until my TR to do Owens Disney Favorite Profile so he can let me know what he loved! I do have to say last trip he giggled and laughed during the parades I am pretty sure that was his favorite thing!!

So now that you have met us and we have the first W out of the way I will get to working on our Where, When, Why and How!! I can't wait this is super fun!

I'm in!!! Your family is beautiful! Can't wait to hear more of your planning! Disney is a bit of an addiction, but a good one. DH never went before we started dated, and i know he isn't over the top crazy like I am, but I know when we are at the parks he really appreciates the attractions and theming and all that went into the parks.
I know where you are coming from, me and my husband had our daughter young and we waited a while to get married (we always joke we did everything backwards) and everyone always said we were crazy, but we have been together for almost 10 years and I wouldn't trade our relationship in for anything in the world, we really are best friends and I love my family.
I am sure Owen will get a kick out of that whole Pixar Place area. Do they like Monsters Inc.?

Thanks for joining!! :cutie:
Sounds like you and your DH have a great marriage that is super important!
I think Owen will really love Pixar place this year. I think he slept through most of it last year :rotfl: My boys do love Monsters Inc. and we are all super excited to see the new movie!!

What?
Well a Disney Vacation of course!! We had a very hard time deciding exactly what this vaca would include. I am the queen of indecisiveness. I change my mind from one day to the next for weeks before I come to a decision. Then I continue to wavier long after the decision has been made. (you will hear more about this I am sure). :rotfl: Then often times as I am doing the thing I wavered all that time about I am still thinking did I make the right choice?
Yep its a problem I need fixing that is for sure! So our trip will include a 7 day base ticket, no water parks this time. Though shocker I thought about it :goodvibes and our very first MNSSHP!!! I am really excited about this one!! We also plan on visiting my husbands dear friend in Louisville on our drive home and so some sight seeing there for a day!!

When?
Well our total time away from home will be Sept 13- Sept 22- we will be in Disney Sept 14-21!! So we will be in vacation mode for a total of 10 days!! :beach:

Where?
We are staying a Pop Century :flower3: (this icon represent groovy well right?)
We did not arrive at our resort choice easily (refer to paragraph above on indecisiveness). When we first decided to book in March I booked a Nemo Suite at AOA. We had stayed at AOA in 2012 in a cars suite and had the most magical time. My parents traveled, and stayed with us so it made financial sense. We adore AOA, from the zero entry pool, to the slash pad and the spacious yet very FUN suites it was a big winner with us and especially the boys!! After being real with myself and getting a few "you have some s..plaining to do Jaisa" from my DH we decided that really we were paying deluxe prices for a value and we would save over 800.00 by switching to Pop. So I called....... I weeped a little bit and I booked Pop.
I never thought my 5 year old would be ok with the LM rooms at AOA. He has said they were for girls etc. etc. Until we watched the movie in April.....he then said that there were lots of boys in the movie and a dog and a crab and a fish. So he would be ok staying there. Esp after I showed him the room pictures. So back to AOA we went . This time in a LM room. I was happy! The FD rumor came out and said it looked like LM rooms were included so I set my phone alarm for 6:30am on the morning of the general public booking because I was dead set on snagging one. Skip to the release of the Visa free dining offer and no LM rooms :( weep......
So after what felt like an entire day of running numbers we decided to (out of nowhere) book a preferred room at POR. LOL......:confused3 My 5 year old and I searched around resort pictures and the Alligator rooms caught his eye. I talked it over with DH. It was decided that we only wanted AB and we need preferred in a resort that size so that is what we would book the next day the discount was released to the general public. I was up with my :coffee:coffee and ready to book.... when I called BAM no preferred POR.... weep... seriously!!! So we ended up booking a preferred room at Pop with free dining and requested 4th floor 60's!! It was not easy but we got there and I am happy to say I have stuck with my reservation for over 2.5 weeks now. Who thinks our reservation will stay there;)

Its crazy how quickly those rooms "sell out" the morning they are announced to GP. I was all ready to do standard room views @ BC for the 20th-27th of Aug but no avalability, then I had to play with dates, still no standard view, so I had to settle for garden. I think you'll keep your Pop Reservations, it looks like a lot of fun there and I think you will be happy :goodvibes

I wish I could have tried to change dates around a bit. But DH already had is vacation approved and I had all the ADR's pretty well set so I was scared to change them!!
The beach club looks so fantastic! Your daughter is going to love it and it looks super nice for mom and dad too :goodvibes
I am still unsure about Pop. But you know what I will never, ever know until I try it! Regardless I could stay in a hut and be pretty happy I think as long I was at Disney!!!!

Jump right in Dis is full of great info. I took my family for the first time last September. Our kids are around the same age :cutie: They are going to absolutely love it!

Why? (please know a loss is mentioned)

Well because we love Disney! But really more than that, we have had a really tough 6-8 months and we want to get back to that place where the rest of the world is kind of non-existent for a little while. I will give you all a little bit of backstory. Stick with me :) We returned home from our last trip in on September 27th 2012. Turns out we had a little visitor with us on the trip that we never knew about. On October 6th I found out I was pregnant (about 3-4 weeks along). I had two pretty difficult pregnancies with my boys. Nothing out of the ordinary just some pre term labor issues. We had also had one previous loss (between my boys) so the thought of a miscarriage was in the back of my mind through every pregnancy. It is for everyone right :/ So when I began to have some bleeding on Halloween night my Dr wanted me to come to the ER. It was then that found out that the baby was in there doing fine but that they thought it was implanted in my previous cesarean scar which is a very rare, serious condition called a cesearean ectopic. They suggested we terminate. We could not do it. We wanted a second opinion. We went later that week to see a Dr of Maternal fetal medicine who suggested we watch how the baby grew if it grew into the scar or away from it. We went for weekly ultrasounds and the entire hospital became our home away from home. They finally had enough measurements to determine that the baby was not growing into my scar but away from it, but that things were worse than they had thought I had placenta accreta. A serious condition where the placenta grows at a rapid rate. I had two serious bleeding episodes that resulted in me being rushed to the hospital via ambulance. Both time we feared the worst but both times that baby was growing and so, so sweet. At our twelve week ultra sound we got to see the baby kicking its tiny feet, we got to see elbows and a sweet little profile. We also found out that day that the placenta had grown into my bladder a condition then known as placenta percreta. They then again counseled my husband and I to terminate. But we declined. Neither our hearts nor our faith would allow us to take life from that baby. That night we decided no matter what happened we were giving this baby every chance we could. I woke up two days later bleeding heavily. I was taken by ambulance to Magee where we found out that baby had not only passed but I was having a massive hemorrhage. I was in an out of consciousness and I remember just telling them they had to save my life I had two boys that needed their mommy. I ended up receiving a full blood transfusion, fresh frozen plasma, and 3 surgeries (which compromised my fertility) I spent 2 days in ICU and countless hours of the last six months recovering both mentally and physically. The whole thing really made me realize that these days with our children are precious. Disney and that first trip will always hold such a special place in our hearts because even though we had no clue that baby was right there with us the whole time pixiedust:

I don't know what to say, I am so sorry, sending tons of hugs your way. That must have been so difficult to go through, you are one strong woman.

Hey Jaisa!

I am so glad that you decided to do a PTR!! Great Start! As a mom of two young boys myself, I love little families with two boys.. As much as I wanted ( and still do) a girl, I love having two boys.

I am booked at CBR but I would be lying if I told you that I didn't think about switching to a value some days.. :) I have stayed at POP before but I was only 15 so I vaguely remember it.
