May 25th, 2013 Fantasy Western!

And actually you will see a broad range of attire for all ages. They are mostly strict about Palo and Remy dress codes. As far as main dining rooms, as long as you don't show up in swim suits you're good. Someone posted in a thread somewhere about adults showing up in pajamas....and no guys it wasn't me lol!

Wondering if there are any moms out there that have kids under the age of 5 that will be on the cruise with them? Just thinking about trying to arrange play dates for my kids to have some kids their own age to play with. Any moms let me know.

I am a lurker here but I will be cruising with my 15 month old and my 2.5 year old.

Just got my nails aNd toes done. I'm ready to go!! We leave Thursday. So ready to go. The golf tournament kicked my butt yesterday. I don't like those 15 hour work days. It's going to be so nice being off work for 10 days.

Got my hair trimmed today and will do the mani/pedi tomorrow! I'm still deep cleaning and want to make sure I have that done first lol.

That's crazy. I lived in Daphne forever my family moved to Mobile and I stayed there. I lived in Lake Forest Apartments for the longest time. Such a small world. Hope we have a great cruise!:beach:

Very small world indeed I hope it's a great cruise as well. I need a break! See ya real soon…

DD 2 & 3 and I are going for manis/pedis on Thursday morning. Their last day of school is technically Friday, but we are taking them out Thursday and Friday. They could go Thursday but we figured if they were missing one day, they might as well miss two. Also, that way we can get our manis/pedis done. DD3 made me sign a contract back in Jan. saying if there was time I'd take them. I figured I could make time. I get my haircut tomorrow. DH is on his last 14 hrs of work until he is off until we get home. We are going to mow the lawn tomorrow (if it doesn't rain). I deep cleaned the house last week because I needed a de-stresser. I just need to pack those last minute things and we head to stay near the airport on Thursday evening since we have a 6am flight the next morning.

Does anyone here have a WORSE IT dept than Disney? Trying to do online check-in for our DVC stays prior and after cruise. NOTHING but disconnects and hangs. Most places have a great website and poor service. Disney decides to do it the other way around!

<rant off>

A friend of mine worked in Disney Interactive in Seattle (who runs most their park websites including ABC, ESPN, etc..) and you wouldn't believe the horror stories.

If Disney paid as much focus on their website as they do their parks/cruises - it would be world class for sure but alas, no.

Nice to know Im not the only one getting pampered before the cruise :) I got my hair cut today and getting my nails done Thursday. I went to the tanning bed today and planning on going tomm and Thursday to get a nice base tan before the cruise. We are all gonna look fabulous. :woohoo:

DD & I got our pedicures done this morning. We'll be heading to bed soon b/c we leave our house at 3 a.m. tomorrow for Vero Beach!

I got my hair cut today, too, and DD and I have both had our mani-pedis. I still feel like I have a zillion things to do before we leave on Thursday, though.

We leave tomorrow. Yay! Gotta get up at 3:15am to catch our 6am flight. We are staying at the yacht club and heading to Animal Kingdom tomorrow when we get there.

Oh goodie! We're doing that as soon as we get there. Fun fun fun.

Us too!!!! Thanks Nicky for letting me know what we're up against. We don't have active WDW APs, but purchased DVC APs. Last year it was a mess too. We upgraded to premier at dtd, but they didn't show us as having DL APs. Apparently the two systems don't "talk" to eachother. We waited about an hr..... Finally someone Who knew what he was doing got the job done!

Last day of school for my girls :beach:. Unfortunately, it's raining today so we can't get our lawn mowed. Looks like that will have to wait until tomorrow. This gives me time to tidy up the house a bit.

Last night DH and I booked a trip to Vegas at the end of July. We don't even get one trip over with before planning another.

I have spent the last two days looking at 2014 cruise prices, trying to convince my husband that we should book another one, even though we said we weren't cruising again since we're saving for a family trip to Vietnam in 2019 (our youngest was adopted from there in 2007).

Still... sigh.... I want another Disney cruise to look forward to!!!

I just wanted to throw this out again for anyone reading this post if anyone is interested in sharing a cabana I have 4 to my family and we were just wondering if any family would want to split the cost of a cabana since they are so expensive. We have cabana number 2 and I know you can have up to 6 in a cabana for the normal price than 50 extra for each additional person with a limit of 10. If anyone thinks they might be interested in this let me know. Thanks

DH and I discussed if we wanted to book a cruise while on it and decided against it. It's hard for him to get away from work for this length of time and our girls are pretty busy.

Does anyone know how I can go about reserving a spot with all of you guys at the mixology class on Thursday? Is there anyway to put our names down now or do I just wait til I get on board and request that specific class? Does the forum have a special name or anything the mixology class is listed under that I would use to request? The class just sounds like so much fun.

I think you're going to have to see Laura at the Meet & Greet and see if she can get you in. I think the sessions were full, but I'm not sure.

My travel agent mentioned to not throw away any gift cards that I used to pay off the cruise since DCL often refunds a few bucks after they figure the port taxes, etc. Well, for kicks, I checked my gift cards and noticed one had a new balance credit of $19.48 applied sometime in April. I guess it just means more chump change to blow onboard!
