We were there in April and between 10:30 and 11 they start to clean up and close. We found that if was busy it did not matter.

Any more news on a new design for the mugs. A month ago they just said did not know of any changing come soon. Anyone hear different.

are there different colors for different resorts? several people have commented that there are only black, pink, and blue ones but a few pages back there is a picture of a yellow one. I would like to get 4 different colors if possible. Do any of the resorts have all 4 colors? How do you differentiate cups for families of 4 if there are only 3 options? going to POP in 2 weeks. Do they have all 4 colors?

All resorts have the same cups .

As posted above, all resorts offer the same colors black, pink, and blue.

The yellow was from early 2011 and was replaced by black later that year.

Pop should have three colors during your trip.

I'm in the same situation but we have 8 cups. I am thinking of using a black marker with an initial on the bottom. Maybe some kind of charm to hang from the handle.

There were 4 of us last time and only 3 colours, both DD's wanted pink so the cast member gave them each a sticker to put on them so they would know which one was their own

They didn't discontinue a fourth color; one of the three colors (yellow) was replaced by another color (black).

Pipe cleaners of different colors twisted onto the mug handles works well we also went a bit farther and did threaded onto it bead letters and then people had their name or initials on it.

I mentioned to my daughter how we will be adding more to the collection. I joked that I wish we could just use the same ones. She responded "that would be lying, you can't lie in Disney world. It just would not be right" She is a teen. I felt like saying maybe we should move there then. LOL.

I feel the same way, but it's a true ethical dilemma. I'm an environmentalist, and I think that buying duplicate cups is unnecessarily wasteful. But since there's no debate allowed in this thread, I just want to make it clear that I abide by the policy even though it makes me uncomfortable.

Will they never change the design!!!!! I have a cabinet full of the current one. We stayed at the Wilderness Lodge in May 2010 and got a different one...since then it has been the same. We now have 12 of the beach design with another 3 being added the end of September.

Us too... I think they over ordered this design shipment... We have been the last 3 years now too and have had the same mug Oct 2010, Nov/Dec 2011, Nov/Dec 2012, And now it looks like we will have them again this Sept 2013
Good thing we added the cruise to this trip now I will get a new mug there

I think you are right re over ordered. Me and DW wondered ( we just got back ) if there is a big warehouse somewhere around Disney full of them! Another thought was numbers of people staying were less than expected so the same amount lasted longer ( or is it proof that people are reusing mugs lol...)
