Sharli & Shane's Wishes Wedding 12/1/13 WP/GF

Gah!!!! I had totally spaced on your PJ! I love the shoes that you have to wear with the dress for the ceremony. So pretty. I really am glad you're going to wear your pink shoes...I think it would be awesome to have you in a photo with all the guys and you can be showing off the shoes!

I don't understand why sales people can be so dumb. What is so hard about I want that style suit in black? I'm glad it was all straightened out. And colored Converse, love it! They are my most comfortable pair of bumming around sneakers. I always found dress shows to be kid of ugly for guys anyways.

Hi  Joining in!

I love all your plans so far! I think the rock theme/multi colour theme is going to be so great and I especially love the idea of the guys wearing the coloured converse too :thumbsup2

You're dress is gorgeous and I love all the shoes! :goodvibes

I cant wait to read more!

Hi and welcome! Thank you for the lovely compliments!

LOL No worries, I know I've been spending a lot of time on the facebook page. Though I have been trying to do a lot of research on pricing. I'm getting really nervous that we're going to go WAY over our budget. :worried:

I love the new shoes! Both pairs! ;) And I love that you're going to wear multiple pairs of shoes on your wedding day! Some many brides wear multiple dresses, why not multiple shoes for whatever appropriate moment! :goodvibes

I love the coloured vests and those are going to look so fun with the coloured converse! But what is with these salesladies at tuxedo rental places! And $40 to rent a tie!!! Wow!

Hullo! I found your PJ today and decided to hop on, a little late, though. :) I don't know if you've already made a firm decision, but as for a kids table, I'd recommend it as soon as you know how many and if any children are coming. I have a big family, so I attend lots of weddings. I still get stuck at the kids table, and I'm fourteen! So yes, paper and crayons? Heaven.

Thanks! I toyed with the idea of having a reception dress actually....DF asked and I thought about it for about 5 minutes. LOL I just don't want to spend time away from my guests while I'm changing. And I love shoes. I love the pop of color that the ties and shoes give....it is just enough to go with the ladies. OH my, no. $40 to buy the tie. ;)

Thank you for your input! I'm thinking if we have 5 or more children, we will definitely be doing a kid's table....and I will definitely be using the butcher paper and crayons! :thumbsup2

Thank you! So glad you're following along. My friend is a photographer and shot the e-pics for us. She is awesome. We had them taken at the arboretum here while the Chihuly glass display was up. As for the music, I wanted to go a little outside the box. It doesn't hurt that DF's father and brother are musicians and my brother has been mixing music forever. We have pretty broad tastes in music. Don't you love the pokitpals? They are fantastic! Such detail. :)

Ok, I don't know where I've been! I really thought I had posted on your pj much more but apparently I just read and then totally forgot!

I love everything! :goodvibes I especially love the hair ideas you posted. Soooooo COOL!

I love your colorful, rock vibe and you're doing an awesome job carrying it through everything! Still following, I promise!

Aww, thanks! As for not posting, well, I have a feeling you may have been a little tied up with something else. ;) Your wedding is fast approaching!

Here are a few tidbits I've been working on.....I'm not sure I mentioned here that I've been trying to make necklaces for my MOH and bridesmaid, but I finished them. I dropped them, and mine, off at a bead store to have them finished. I'll be sure to take pictures when I get them back which should be in a couple of weeks.

Something else I'm not sure I mentioned here is about our sand ceremony vessel. I have been scouring the internet, craft stores, and bridal shops for a sand ceremony set. I finally decided that I wanted something that was more unique than what I kept finding. So DF and I went to a glass-blowing studio to look around. He saw a vessel online that he liked and we have commissioned them to create the vessel. Below is a photo of the inspiration piece. Ours will be clear with multi-color glass blended in. We bought hot pink and black sand before I knew what the vessel would look like, so I may change the pink sand to white. Here is their website: http://vetroartglass.com/about

In other news, we have a planning session this Friday. I'm super excited....mostly because I haven't had any sweets in about 3 (or more) months, and I'll get to eat cake! CAKE!!! And carbs! Yum! I'm so excited about the cake that I keep forgetting my hair and makeup trial is on Thursday afternoon. :rotfl: We will be meeting Rev. Knox after our planning session and then the rest of the weekend will be spent at Universal Studios. I'm excited about this because DF and I have been watching the Harry Potter movies.....he'd never seen any of them before and is really enjoying them.

And my last bit of news has nothing to do with the wedding. I have been taking an Accounting class, one of two classes I need for my Bachelor's Degree. Well, I took my final exam last Tuesday. I needed 158 points (out of 1000) to get a C in the class. I mention this because this is not my first time taking it, so I've only ever hoped to get a C. This perplexes most of my friends and family because I've never accepted anything less than an A from myself. Soo, I took my final and I didn't get 158 points......I got 920! I'm so proud of myself and excited to say that I have a solid B in Accounting II. I will be taking my last class next spring and finish up my degree! pixiedust:

Thank you! Posting pics is easy, I put instructions on your PJ. Let me know if you have any questions or need help! ;) I'm sure you're plenty creative! And if you need ideas or help brainstorming, you can always ask. Actually, I gave a co-worker the theme for her first anniversary party. :rotfl: Everyone here has such great ideas! Do you have a Pinterest account? I would sit for hours pinning and getting ideas. As for being thought out, I've been planning this wedding for a long time. I'm also fortunate enough to have a fiance who enjoys helping me. He has really great ideas too! Like the color scheme was, in large part, due to him.

No worries! I will definitely update with the planning session. The cake was fantastic! And, even though I was a little distracted with music talk, I do remember which were really good. YES, the sand vessel! That's exactly what I was thinking too! I love that the vessel is going to be reminiscent of the Chihuly glass in our engagement photos. Everything is really coming full circle. Thank goodness DF finally called to let them know about the sand.
