I made the crock pot beef stroganoff - and it was good!! Of course, I forgot how my body reacts to dairy (milk & sour cream), so I have been paying for this since yesterday afternoon. Sad to say that I won't be making that again.

I have chicken to cook today - a ranch chicken recipe, with no dairy! lol! I'm going to pop it all in at lunch (230pm) and it'll take 4 hours on high. In time for dinner. Hopefully I'll feel up to eating then.

I'm also dealing with a very sore back today - not sure if I slept wrong or not, but sitting here with the heating pad on. So bad, that I actually considered taking 1/2 day off.

Deb - so glad the time is here!! You've been planning for so long, so it's good to see it all come together. We will be neighbors soon!!

YAY we'll be neighbors soon. Not for about a week after we get there though. We'll be staying at the hotel near the Orlando airport for the first week or so. We'll just be visiting the house and keeping installation appointments. AFTER our stuff arrives and we stay in the house.....then we will officially be neighbors. I'm excited! I can't wait!

Glad the beef stroganoff was good at least while you were eating it. I need to print out that recipe when we get to the other side. My printer is packed already. haha.

Hope you enjoy the chicken and ranch recipe today. I love that you're so adventurous with your foods. You look for recipes and make them. I need John to be more like you. hahaha.

Sorry about your back. I wish you had a pain killer or muscle relaxer. At least you have the heating pad. I hope it gets better quickly.

Any news to make plans yet with him? At least he called to tell you about his test. That's great! I hope you get together soon.

YAY! for Thursday. It's almost Friday! Then you'll get some loving hugs from the family. I hope you enjoy your trip and feel better before you have to take off.

Long day here. My computer had some kind of virus on it, the other party didn't bother to show up in court, and then my tire blew out on the way home from Olivia's spring concert. The tow truck guy was insane and couldn't find the spare, so he just towed me home and I will have to wait for AAA to come back again in the morning. Geez!

We left Pennsylvania. We're on our way to Florida. Saying goodbye to Angel and Ella was very hard. I will miss them. Saying goodbye to the kid was easy. hahaha.

Saying goodbye to the mail lady Rae and our neighbor Mike up the hill from us and just to the whole town of Saylorsburg was very melancholy. But I'm happy to be moving on and starting new.

The movers did the house in just four hours. Then two more hours at the storage shed. So they were not done and us out of there until 4:15pm. We hit rush hour traffic in all the major cities along the east coast going south....Phili, Baltimore, DC....so at 10:30pm we stopped for the night in Fredricksburg VA. We'll get an early start tomorrow morning and we should make it all the way to Florida. YAY!

We're here! We made it! YAY!!

John is sleeping, as expected. Yesterday was a brutal one for him driving from Virginia all the way down here. I slept in the car so I'm fine. Just have to figure out what I'm going to do with myself all day today while John is sleeping.

I'm anxious for tomorrow to get here. We pick up our keys and go to our house. YAY! It's been so long that I don't even remember what it looks like anymore. We'll be taking lots of pictures so look for them being posted on FB.

We're staying in a 2 room suite at Staybridge Suites over by the airport in Orlando. John loves it because the freezer has an ice making machine. He loves not having to run down the hall with the ice bucket. On DCL our room steward gets instructed to have a full bucket of ice placed in our room during turndown. It's like magic that it just shows up every night.

Thanks Shell. That's the plan. John slept until almost 11:30am. Then he went to Publix and is now cooking a cheap Italian dinner. Won't know what the moving truck weighed in at until tomorrow when I call their office. Then we'll know how much we went over our original estimate. So we're keeping it close to the collar until we know better what we have to pay. I'm just praying that it comes in at $5k and no higher. But we'll see.

I'm just playing on my computer today and catching up. I think I'll take a little nappy until dinner is ready. Today is definitely a chill day for both of us. Tomorrow we run around again.

Thanks Deb. We hit some heavy rain downpours intermittently as we were driving. I was ready to tell John to pull over because I couldn't see anything. Then it just stopped or subsided. We were able to keep going.

I'm glad we have arrived. Now I just want my things to get here so I can move into my house. I love my new home.

We had very heavy rain downpours last Saturday and I was working, Ian was playing bowling in competition (outside) then it was cancelled *** it was floating lol...

No time for me to catch up here right now, will after work. Just hopping on for a request. Prayers please. Tyler's best friend Hunter, the boy who was recently over for a sleepover, and I used to pick him and his sister up from school last year, their mom is one of my best friends, Libby. She recently had a biopsy of her thyroid and it was undetermined whether there is cancer. So this morning she is having surgery to remove part of her thyroid and when they're in there they will be able to see if the whole thing is cancerous and if so will remove the whole thing. The uncertainty is awful, so any prayers would be appreciated. Thanks.
