Booking flights from buffalo

It seems there are a few of you who fly Southwest from Buffalo, so I thought I'd ask here. I'm looking for a direct flight leaving early in the morning on Sunday November 10. I can't seem to find anything that works on Southwest.

The cheapest I can find is Jet Blue which is just over $600 for three of us. The return on Southwest is only $375, so I'm hoping to find a better option for Sunday. Any ideas?

Thanks!

Have you looked at air tran. I haven't flown with them but they are owned by southwest now. I have only flown jet blue. I really like jet blue. You may want to sign up with jet blue so you get emails about sales. I found with them the seats are cheapest the farther out you book. They tend to raise their prices closer to the date but they will drop them again periodically but sometimes for only day. It's good to check air fares almost daily.

Try allegiantair.com they fly out of Niagara Falls airport and are by far the cheapest from the toronto area.

do you HAVE to travel on those specific dates? Can you alter by a day? I looked at those dates, and travelling on a Sunday is usually more expensive. If you look at the Saturday, it is much much cheaper.

Thanks, I checked out the above suggestions.
We've actually changed to Mon-Sat, so that was a bit cheaper - about $850 with southwest.
All of the airtran flights had a layover and the other carrier didn't have any dates up for November yet. But from what I saw for October, the flights leave later in the day than we'd like.
I'll keep checking.
Thanks again!

I think Airtran is pulling out of Buffalo. Anything I am looking at for December on their site just says it's run by Southwest and gives no other options.

OP.. Try Delta and United as well. They may be flights with layovers, but their prices are coming close to Southwest and are much better than Jetblue these days. Just remember you'll have to add the baggage fees. Even then, they are much cheaper than Jetblue for my dates.

There are plenty flights in December for AirTran.
Airtran is owned / Operated by Southwest now.

Allegiant Air now charges $50 per checked bag! (May 1st increase)
1 bag ...round trip adds $100 per person.

They also do not fly Buffalo-Orlando every day either...its generally Thursday and Sundays

Factor the baggage fee its not the cheapest.

For my dates there are 2 going down (which are both operated by Southwest) and one coming back (also operated by Southwest). This is the 14th and the 23rd. Way way less options then before and none of them actual airtran flights though they are on their website.
I know Southwest bought them, which is what has me speculating that the Airtran flights operated by Airtran will be disappearing. They are pulling them in other cities and making them Southwest only over time and the lack of availability has me wondering if they aren't gearing up for that in Buff as well.

I would think they would do that 2..no sense operating 2 different companies. I noticed the lack of flights for your dates too..there is usually 6-8 flights day.

We have never flown Air Tran as they were know to change their flight times frequently. (Pre SW days)

I hear you. I went with them on our way down this August because they were far cheaper than anyone else but I am not sad to see them go. They are usually my last choice so I won't be too sad to see Southwest take over.

But they don't fly into MCO. My coworker uses allegiant all the time as she has a house in the Kissimmee area.
