Me and my daughter normally go in December to escape the cold Canadian weather, but this year we are going with a co-worker and her daughter and they want to go in September, so We are....
Kind of excited to see MNSSHP and Food & Wine.
Our Dates September 25th to October 1st
Staying at Port Orleans French Quarter and doing DxDP!!!!!

I know you didn't ask me ;) but here is the website link

That one looks good duration wise, but I think we'll have to go the grayline one because we wanted to go to Santa Monica pier rather than Venice beach. I like the idea of smaller tour buses and not quite as long a day though.

We haven't done any planning for a while now. We've booked all our accommodation and flights. Everything's booked for our Canada part. We have our Disney tickets and photopass+, tickets to see O in Vegas. We just have to get a few more day tours and tickets for the San Diego part of the trip.

We've almost hit double digits too.... Only 102 days until we fly out party:

Send an email. Depending on the size of the group and bookings it is possible to tailor it a little.

Sare, we want to do exactly the same (Santa Monica Pier instead of Venice Beach), and that's why I have been in contact with Tom - he will try to accommodate this preference. At the moment he is looking to create a new LA/Hollywood tour, hopefully by September, so it is certainly worth contacting him directly so that you are kept in the loop about what might be available to you when you are there.

We are planning to do the LA tour on Sunday 22nd September (best to avoid DL on weekends if you can!) and have booked the Universal tour for Wednesday 25th (mid-week is a little bit quieter).

How cool! That sounds like a great trip.

Disney have just announced the final line-up for Eat to the Beat.

Incase anyone is interested, here it is:

As a shameless child of the 80's, many of these bands do excite me. I wish I could be there to hear Survivor play 'Eye of the Tiger' or Wilson Phillips (once one of my favourite bands) sing 'Hold On'. But I'm happy I will be there to enjoy the fabulous 70s and 80's rock ballads of Air Supply. :thumbsup2 :rotfl:

air supply, I saw them on foxtel the other night flicking Channels. I couldn't turn it off it was seriously car crash stuff. cheesy corny and way over produced and scripted.there's a good reason why the only play in the states, no one in Australia would see them. well no self respecting bloke!!!!!!

now hide in corner wearing flame retardant suit while the ladies light the flamethrower!!!

Lol. Like I said, I'm shameless. Epcot, Food and Wine Festival, and some free 80's music thrown in for good measure - what's not to like. :rotfl:

I would probably also go watch Starship if I wasn't at MNSSHP that night. I've had "We built this City" stuck in my head all morning.

So it's official the Halloween super thread says Halloween begins at DL on Sept 13 and the first party is Sept 30 :cheer2:

Oh, we leave on the 13th so will see it in the morning, yay. But as we are looking at extending, then we will definitely see it! Won't be there for a party but it will be nice to see the decorations! We haven't been to DL for Halloween before, only WDW. Thanks for sharing. WAMUMOF4! Yay

Yeah, dates for the party are a bit different than what I thought they'd be. Fortunately, we are there on the 30th though (our first night at GCH), so will try to get tickets for that night. Does anyone know when tickets go on sale and do they get snapped up quickly?

I am not sure the Halloween super thread said they go on sale to AP holders and DVC members first and that it should be any time between now and June 10 Hopefully they will announce it soon!

We miss the first party...we fly out on the 30th . Luckily we didn't tell the kids about it. At least we'll get to see DL in all it's Halloween splendour.

That's a shame whilst we haven't been to a DL party yet we loved the one at WDW maybe you will get to do one next time and the park is amazing in its Halloween finery :)
