Girls! Which bag is your go-to for Disney? (Vera Bradley Hipster?)

I've been using LeSportSac of various varieties for the past few trips because they shed water better than Vera Bradley. They are not waterproof. I recently purchased a Sherpani Prima cross body bag that is waterproof.

FYI, eBags bags are not, I repeat NOT waterproof. Water resistant, yes. But I'd take additional precautions before wearing one in heavy rain or, say, on water rides. I had a puddle in the bottom of my Piazza after an exceptionally wet spin on Splash Mtn.

Yea I was thinking they might not be, bummer! Oh well. I usually put most things in plastic bags before putting them in my bag anyway, so ill just have to remember to do that for sure this time lol.... Thanks for the heads up! Hope nothing of yours got ruined!

I just ordered the Overland Equipment Donner Shoulder (Crossbody) Bag in Storm Blue (so DH can hold it lol) because it's $34.99 with free ship/return and today it's 14% cashback on ebates.

So, after cashback, it basically cost me $30. I can live with that.

I'm not terribly worried about the rain though- I usually just break out my poncho and it covers me, my camera and my bag.

Keep the suggestions coming though- I am not 100% sold on this bag. I just figured with free returns it was worth a try!

:thumbsup2 I do exactly the same - I don't trust any bag, lol!

I've used a VB Hipster and a Kavu Keeper. As for waterproof? I have found that either fits nicely in a gallon Ziploc bag :)

Previously I used the Vera backpack but how since downsized to the Hipster. Worked great last June. Fits really well under the rain ponchos which I ended up wearing a lot.

I've tried the ever popular Baggalini messenger, an overland bag, a backpack and a hipster. My fave by far is the VB Hipster. Perfect size for me, comfy and mine does not have the water magnet feature. ;)

I've got a Baggalini crossbody with an adjustable strap that allows me to wear it around my waist if it gets too heavy on my shoulder. It's easy to just unclip the strap and take it off if it gets in the way on a ride, and I love the whole hands-free thing.

I really liked my Hipster this week. I really fit a lot in it. Whether it works as a sole park bag depends on if someone else will be able to hold the ponchos, costumes, water bottles, etc.

In my hipster, I kept:

- Park Passes fastpasses in the front zippered pocket
- Cell phone in the back zippered pocket
- Wallet
- Point and shoot camera
- Small makeup bag with powder and blotting sheets
- 1 eos lip balm and 3 Revlon colorburst lipsticks
- sunglasses/pouch (often 3 pairs because my DDs had me carry their sunglasses too).
- Hand sanitizer wipes

There was room for other stuff too.

I have a lovely St John's Bay crossbody, but it is discontinued. The thing for me was something that had really strong straps and attachments. I had a cute denim crossbody that I used to use for parks and things, but it came apart in Egypt several years ago, and it was murder trying to replace it with something.

I was there last week and used a VB Hipster. It held my small skinny wallet, 2 bottles of water, iphone, sunscreen, camera, bottle of asprin, and a small pack of tissues. It was perfect for me. :thumbsup2

After much trial and error and many Disney trips the number one bag of all time is this one:

It was $12.99 at the Totes outlet. It's water resistant (wipe off - nylon? not cloth) and has a TON of pockets. It also has really thin straps which help when it's HOT in the summer, and the "triangular" back keeps it from feeling (and looking) bulky. It also fits a TON more than it looks like it would! It is the ONLY bag that I've continued to use over and over! :thumbsup2
