Sept 1 2013 Disney Dream

At the Nassau what, what shore excursions are you taking if any?

My wife and I are thinking about taking the granddaughter to a dolphin encounter. Anybody know which one is best; the one at Blue Lagoon or the one at Atlantis?

Don't know which ones are the best, but I always heard positive reviews from previous cruises that the passengers did the Dolphins. The Dolphins are always so much fun :) Your granddaughter will be so happy and have a lot of great memories :cool1:

Count us in!!!

Doing this cruise to celebrate my 50th birthday (actually in August) with 2 of my best friends (Shannon & Delaine), my oldest DD-24(Brittany) and my dad. This will be my 12th cruise and Britt and my dad have cruised multiple times but this is the first DCL cruise for my friends.

Brittany is getting married at Walt Disney World in June so things are a little hectic for us right now so I might be in and out until the end of June.

Can't wait to show my friends how much fun a Disney cruise can be.

Putting in a request for the FB page.

So I was thinking perhaps to ask some ice-breaker questions to get the conversation going…

Here are the ones I came up with:

What do you do for a living?

Who is your favorite Disney Character?

What is your favorite Disney memory?

Hi, im a daycare provider and stay home mom of two wonderful kids. DD 6 and DS 12, my favorite character is toy story, DD princesses (right now favoring Brave), DS stitch and star wars, husband none. I will also be turning 32 on 9/11 and tgis is my bday present.
Disney memory is when we first went to dw my DS was 6 and Ak was crowd, he didnt get to go on mountain Everest defore we left to dinner at boma. We went back to AK after dinner but the bus took to long, so when we got back to Ak the park was closing in 10 minutes. The cast member at the gate said we would never make it. Another cast member notice how sad my son look, so he call someone who came by with a small cart and drove him all the way to Everest and he made sure they didn't close it down until my son got a ride, we were the only ones on the ride. My son was the happiest kid. He tells everyone they really do make your dreams come true..lol

That is soo cute! It's these little touches that really make me love Disney so much. :goodvibes

Me, my DH and my DD (7) are growing our love with dcl. First wih magic follow by wonder, fantasy and now DREAM. Not on purpose but one leads to another. Never have a chance to try other cruise line. Looking forward to this trip and know that we are going to have a blast!

I am not creative at all. Anyone has any magnet design to share? DD loves to decorate the door.

Welcome to the group :cool1: There are disigners on the disboards who can assist with door magnets. Many times they can make the clip art for you and you print them on magnet paper at home. Search the disney cruise line forum page. Hopefully you will join us with the FE. It is a lot of fun. We also have a facebook page. Looking forward to a great cruise.

Seems we have a lot of birthdays for this sailing! I wish my birthday was earlier in September so I could celebrate at sea Disney style too - perhaps I'll just have to plan another cruise for next year so I can do that :) :cool1:

Hello fellow cruisers!! :wave2: Do we have any Gold or Platinum cruisers in our thread that could do me a favor? I'm a Silver member and will be checking in Sunday at midnight for our group and my two friends would like to do the snorkeling in Nassau. Is there anyone that could look up what times the "Caribbean Queen Snorkel Tour" for $37 is offered in Nassau ahead of time for me so I can see which one they prefer?

I would greatly appreciate it and I'm excited about doing check in for us and it makes this trip, even closer! We leave for Alaska in about two weeks so these cruises are getting closer and closer. :cool1:

Take care,
Heather
