We are taking our 3 children to Disney next weekend & then again 2 weeks after that to use the Florida special tickets. My 2 have never been & are beyound excited. However we are so upset as I cannot get my 6 year old daughter into bibbidi bobbidi boutique . She has dreamed about Disney for yrs but due to the economy & our jobb loss we havent been able to affird it until now. I am crushed I cant get her in for 5/18, 5/19, 6/1, 6/2. I try calling everyday, couple times a day. The cast members tell me cancellations are rare. Does anyone have experience with this? Is it hopeless? Has anyone had luck with a cancellation? Best time/day to call? I will take any advice/help. Thanks so much!

Have you tried scheduling at Downtown Disney or just MK? If you can make it to BBB at park opening, you could see if they can fit her in, but do it without her knowing in case it doesn't work out. Keep calling everyday, though. Hopefully something will open. You can also do the makeover yourself and just swing by BBB for a sprinkle of pixie dust. Good luck!

Have you tried the one in the world of Disney store in DTD? I know the castle is the more desirable location, but there are two BBB's...

We just got back from a trip last week and our girls did the Flower Girl makeup and hair at GF. It is NOT the full BBB "experience". Which we did in November. However, you can make it fun for your DD. We bought new princess dresses, had hair extensions for them to put in with their up-do's, etc. The ladies there were really nice.

Thanks everyone Yes I call every day (2-3 times) I also try for the MK & DTD each time I call. I am not picky at this point. Other than the 7:00 apt. which makes no sense as she will be in bed & the pool.

Just a thought, but the Pirates League has deluxe mermaid packages now. If you did this and took an Ariel costume, she would look adorable! Also, all of the costume stuff in BBB, can be purchased at a Disney Store or in the park, a store right across from BBB. These items are not one of a kind for the boutique. I have even found the almost identical fingernail polish with the crown tops that they give the girls in the party aisle at WalMart for $2 or so. There are even great princess items at Toys R Us in their $1-$2 bins. You can probably get something very special worked out for her.

For something as a replacement, you could dress her all up and let her go to the Wonderland Mad Tea Party at the Grand Floridian. I think it was $35 or so. They decorate cupcakes, drink apple juice, and no parents allowed. Alice and the Mad Hatter are the hosts and act silly, interact with the girls, and all of the party goers and the characters parade out into the lobby! Lots of great reviews about it and we are doing that for our 6 year old DD in October.

Combine the Tea Party and a special Princess Basket full of great finds to primp her with before the event could equal one magical experience!
