FW Cabins Internet - WiFi or can you get wired?

Just wondering if anyone has any up to date info on this. I know there is free WiFi but, frankly, we've found it to be terrible in comparison to the wired service you paid for in the past at the deluxe and DVC resorts. Looks like they have it available for the camp sites, but can you still get it in the cabins?

My husband owns his own business and has to get some work done on vacation (or we don't go on vacation) and I'm wondering if the option to use wired internet might work better for us since we wouldn't be fighting everyone else in the vicinity with their devices for bandwidth.

Any thoughts on this? We'd really like to try FW because our DS6 would love it, but this is a real concern for us.

I think wired has been removed from all resorts, they ended the contract. I stayed at BLT in March and found the wireless was much better than last year, also at the parks. You may want to into an air card.

Thanks for the reply. Yup, it's not been available in any of the resorts we've stayed in over the last few years (Poly, BCV, AKV). I just thought that since it was available for campers at FW, perhaps it was available to the cabins too.

We do have an air card, but we're not sure how the coverage would be (the coverage map is a little sketchy around WDW). Wired is always a good fail safe.

Anyone know if the wired is available at FW Cabins?

I can't find anywhere indicating any part of Walt Disney World offers wired Internet; DebbieB's comment that she thinks the contract ended would seem to support that it's not available.

Actually, there are numerous references out there regarding it on reliable sites such as waltdisneyworld.com, allears.net, and here on our beloved DIS...that's what caused me to seek further details
