Uncle Baker just called with our official moving date. We're out of here on Friday 5/17. After the movers pack us up, we'll start heading south. We don't know yet when they will arrive in Florida at our house. They have one more load on Monday the 20th and they should be leaving here and heading south on Tuesday 21st. It will take a while for them to get to us. Good thing we got the hotel for the week.

Mon, $79/night for a two room suite vs. $140/night for a two room suite makes a big difference when I have it booked for a week. So we'll just do more driving this trip. That's fine. I'll save over $400. I won't use that much extra in gas....so it's worth it. You'll have to come over and see our house after we get the keys. I'll take pics too and post them on FB.

Oh very exciting ....about move to FL.

And I am sad that we are selling our timeshares of Westgate Resort as we realised it is not Worthing for us and it is better off with USA people...

English company put our timeshare on the market now....

Hopeful we will be back in FL in one day and visit you both too.

Thanks Shannon. I'm not feeling so good today. I'll take it slow and rest when I can. We're busy packing, packing, packing....all the boxes from out of the storage shed that are from my mom's house. We have to sort through them and then repack what we're taking.

Good Afternoon and happy weekend to all. It's a special one because it's Mother's Day. Even though I won't be spending my day out to dinner with my mom, I'm keeping her memory strong and remembering all the Mother's Days that I did spend with her. Lots of great memories!

I hope everyone has a very happy Mother's Day and enjoys spending time with their moms and kids and families.

For the QM, I hope she has a happy Mother's Day and a happy Birthday and spends time with her kids and grands.

It will be just another day at my house. We're busy getting ready for the move.

after the blow up this year.. she's been weird... she FINALLY answered an email from me today... it only took her 8 months to talk to me again... not sure if that's a sign of her melting or if she's just still being a pill...

Sorry I've been so absent! I missed almost a month of work after my surgery and am paying the price now!! I think I will be caught up by the end of May, but the last six weeks have been insane.

I wanted to wish everyone a Happy Mother's Day, especially all of the moms, grandmoms, daughters, aunties, etc.

We are throwing a Mother's Day BBQ here, so Josh can show off the new grill (the hurricane busted our old one, so we had to replace it). As usual, I bought a ton of food, so we may be eating BBQ all week. I guess there are worse things! Josh offered me breakfast in bed too, but I told him I'd prefer sleep in bed to breakfast in bed.

The house is on edge tonight since the Islanders are playing. If they lose tonight, we are out of the playoffs. If they win, it's game 7 tomorrow! I would really love for them to win the series, but they are the underdogs by far, and on the upside, once they lose, josh will be shaving off his "playoff beard". LOL!

FIVE more days until we move near the mouse! YAY!! I can't believe it's finally here. We have been planning this for almost two years. It felt like it was so far away and yet, here it is!

We finished repacking all the boxes from the storage unit. Now we have lots of boxes that we're bringing. I thought we weren't going to be bringing anything with us. HA! Was I ever so wrong.

The only thing we have left to do is everything off the walls and all the last minute things. We have four more days to get it all done. No days off anymore....everyday is a work day. Then on Friday we head south when the movers finish loading us onto the truck. I'm not sure what time that will be or how far we'll get on the first day of travelling. It may take two days to get to FL on this trip. Then we go right to the hotel and wait for the moving truck to arrive.

Deb... take our advice.. we were soooo exhausted after they packed us to move... that we took a hotel room nearby to stay the night and then left for upstate.. you will be wiped out by then so plan and take care of yourselves!
