Thank you CT Disney for the trip report. I plan to be sitting in one of those chairs on the beach this time next week!

C T Disney: I take that path a lot! One time I saw a lady pushing a double stroller towards the hill and I told her it would be easier to take the lower path and it takes you to the same place. When we came out the other side at the same time as her family she said she wanted to kiss me!! It's very pleasant by the water, you're under shade for a brief time under the bridge as well as out of the rain briefly too.

Hi everyone!!

I made it over here...:cool1::cool1::cool1:

So excited! Today I added a night to our October stay at BC and moved us to CL.
:dance3:

Going to suprise hubby....He will be so excited!

Dee...this thread rocks and is all you need to read. Thank you and to all for your pictures!

Every time I see the SAB pics at the start of this thread, I think to myself that we MUST build some more resort time into our plans.

Thank you for the new thread, Dee.........really amazing how well done it is!

I agree. It's the main reason that I convinced everyone we needed to add an extra night.

:scared: So sad, but excited, but I have to do the resort switch :( After much deliberation and if I'm being honest, I have to do the deed :( Dee you will need to take me off the BOG as we are switching to POR. I am bummed, but I will stay on here and have no fear, I will still make the Sunken Treasure cards and BC will always be my home as that was our first home back in 2007 for our first trip ever to the World!! When my DH finishes his MBA and gets that raise, guess who will be going CL at BC!? I'm trying to stay up beat about it, but if Dee can do it, I can too!! It was Dee right that is or was just at POR?

You will still have a great time. Go to Port Orleans fan site and get excited. And of course still hang around here!

POR is an awesome resort!! You will love it! Plan a trip to YC/BC for lunch at B&C... 2 weeks ago I was at BLT and took the boat over from Disney Studios and had lunch at B&C and it was YUMMY!

I agree! Looking at your pictures makes me want to plan my next trip right now too!! Thanks for sharing. :thumbsup2 :goodvibes

plan plan plan!!!

Yikes!! These threads go so fast!

Dee: My dates changed slightly for our YC stay in August. We are now going to be there from 8/20-8/24. If I can bribe my DD to extend our trip a little more it could change but I doubt it! ;)

I should take the lead on some the folks here and plan a day simply enjoying the resort and SAB. February was too cold to do that and I don't think we'll have the same issue in August! :)

CT Disney: Thanks for sharing your trip summary and those wonderful photos.

Cape May has a delicious breakfast and a really nice atmosphere. We've eaten breakfast there even when we didn't have any kids with us. :goodvibes

Hi guys! What breakfast do you guys think has better food and better character interaction Cape May or Hollywood & Vine?

It depends on what kind of experience you want. We loved our breakfast at Cape May Café. It was more relaxing than other character meals we've done and we got to meet the chracters twice. Hollywood & Vine is more high energy. We haven't been for a few years, but they did a few dances with the kids when we went.

Here's another vote for Cape May. Besides the classic characters I love the food options at CP.

Dee, Another wonderful job . Well done , I have not been following much lately my dad passed after a long battle with dementia and have been very busy trying to get everything settled before my BC vacation in 42 days ,again thanks for all your hard work .

SO sorry for your loss.

Regarding characters, they are "different"- cape may is traditional disney (miinie, donald, etc), hollywood and vine is clubhouse disney (handy manny, etc). I thought cape may food was very nice- not yet been to h and v bfast buffet

CT Disney: What amazing pictures...you have me even more excited for our stay in...5 days!! :cool1: I will try and remember that path by the water to Epcot!

Ok, we have an awesome deal for Labor Day with an TA. Now I check my email and I have a pin that starts 8/25. Ugh!!!!

Question 1 can the TA add it too our deal. - doubt it pretty much already know the answer is no.

Question 2 what would you do?

Option 1 YC CL under $3000 with 6 day tickets
Option 2 switch to free dinning to cover meals for trip and stay in regular room @yc

Tell me I am making the right choice with the Labor Day deal

Keep the deal! And CL. I'm sure it will work out cheaper then rack rate. Last August we stayed CL at AKL. We only did 1 meal a day. Breakfast in lounge, then we did a late TS lunch, and dinner was Appies in the lounge. Then dessert.
It was more then enough food for us. I thought if we were still hungry we could supplement with something from The Mara, but with a big lunch, we never were.

I think I have that same deal :goodvibes. But we opted to not stay CL this trip, since we will be there 12 nights. However, we are keeping our deal, and not booking free dining. We are using TIW instead.
