Trying to find QS locations to get a good grilled cheese for my 2-year-old. Nothing fancy, just plain ole grilled cheese. Thanks!

Believe it or not, I don't think it exists, at least not in the parks.

Capt Cook's at The Poly has an adult grilled cheese, so they MIGHT be able to make a less gourmet version for a kid.

I haven't seen it on any kids' menu, though.

Hi! Just got back with ds 16 months who eats very little other than green beans and grilled cheese. Hurricane Hannah's over at the Beach Club is a QS that had a plain old kids grilled cheese. It came with fresh yogurt with fresh berries on top that he actually also ate. It came in a cute sand bucket with shovel. Hope this helps :).

Earl of Sandwich has a good kid's grilled cheese. But that's about it as far as I can think.

I agree with both Earl of Sandwich and Capt. Cooks! I love a good grilled cheese.

They make grilled cheese sandwiches at Beaches and Cream. :thumbsup2

Also, Captain Cook's makes the "adult" grilled cheese with a bunch of different cheeses and tomato slices (you can have them hold the tomato).

The Plaza has an adult grilled cheese that is not on the menu, good but a typical grilled cheese just made larger with 3 slices of bread like the club. They also have a kids grilled cheese as does Captain Cook's along with the adult grilled cheese.

Whispering CC has a grilled cheese on the new lunch menu. The Wave at The Contemporary has a grilled cheese on the kids menu. The Brown Derby has a grilled cheese on the kids menu. We have always been able to order them from room service. All I can think of for now.

This is my standard reply, edited to add that Captain Cooks is the only one that is QS.

Just ask if you don't see it on the menu. If they have the supplies, they will make it for you.

Thanks for all the replies. I have a picky 2-year-old, and I'm thinking he will get VERY tired of chicken tenders and fries after awhile. He likes pizza too but the pizza at WDW QS locations looks like it's a little too thick for him. Like I said....picky picky!! I wanted to see where I could get a grilled cheese and I wasn't seeing it a ton on menus I've seen....I guess b/c it doesn't exist in too many places! Very surprising....grilled cheese is a staple in our house.

We are doing mostly breakfasts for our TS meals, except for dinner at Ohana. And I have already heard they'd make me a grilled cheese there if I ask.

Just ask if you don't see it on the menu. If they have the supplies, they will make it for you.

Thanks - good to know!

Pinocchio Village Haus at MK makes a thin flatbread type kids pizza. :)

At BOG lunch they have ham and cheese maybe you can ask for no ham

Also at French bakery as well

Thanks - both great ideas! I was worried about what we'd do for lunch at BOG b/c I do plan on eating there myself.

Just keep in mind that this is not a typical grilled cheese at BOG, it features gruyère cheese and bechamel sauce on a very textured multi grain bread. The flatbread at PVH is very slight on the cheese. I just wanted to mention this as a picky child might not like these.

Thanks everyone! My picky child's diet basically consists of chicken tenders, grilled cheese, cheese quesadillas, cheese pizza, any kind of fries (white potato or sweet potato), yogurt, all kinds of "snacky" stuff, bacon, waffles, cereal....and that's about it. I get him fruit and veggies by giving him those fruit/veggie squeezie things (not to mention Juice Plus gummies every day). I always put the real thing in front of him but he won't touch it - it's a texture thing. One day he will pick something healthy up and eat it...I know it! Anyway, thanks again for the info!

Good luck!! I once started a thread but never finished about the quest for grilled cheese in Disney. I have a very picky eater now 13 yrs old and still won't touch veggies- literally gags! It is a texture thing- he won't eat rice or mashed potatoes either. He was raised on chicken nuggets, pizza and bagels and he is now 6'1 195 lbs!!
In regards to grilled cheese the problem is that all restaurants would only offer cheddar cheese and my guy wasn't having that when he was younger. The best place to get a grilled cheese was at the all star resorts!! Ironically we were staying at sports and it took us the whole trip to realize that the perfect grilled cheese was literally right there!! Another great one used to be at leaning palms- in typhoon lagoon - they did a grilled cheese pretzel that was delish..... But in true disney fashion they stopped serving it!
Hope you have a great trip!!
