Has anyone worn Skechers GoWalks in Parks?

Anyone tried Skechers GoWalks at WDW? They look pretty comfy and fairly "cushiony", but wondered if anyone has first-hand experience with them at WDW. I like the fact that they're really lightweight, but wondered if they have any kind of support at all.

I'm also looking into Skechers GoRunBionics - meant for running, but still super-lightweight. They get good reviews on Amazon.

TIA!

I am interested in the same thing..i considered buying them last week for our upcoming trip..but they were kinda pricey!

My Mom, sister, and I all wore them last September. We all thought they were great.:thumbsup2

I bought my mom some Go Walks and she says they're super comfortable, like wearing a cushioned sock.I have a pair of Skechers Go Bionics that I bought since I've been using minimalist shoes like the Nike Free Run 2 that I used to run the Disney marathon. The Go Bionic is however extreme minimalist as it's zero drop and as close to a barefoot that I've used.It is still very comfortable as it's very flexible and has a spacious toebox.I'll use them to run on the treadmill at the gym and to walk around in but I won't run a marathon in them, not enough cushioning for me.I've realized the Nike Free run 2 is like my perfect shoe with a perfect combination of flexibility and cushioning. Some of the other Nike free run models are too narrow, many of the Skechers running shoes however have a good amount of space up front.I also have a pair of Go Run rides and it has a similar feel to the Free run 2's but with a noticeable hump in the middle of the shoe to cause a mid foot strike when you run which is a good thing and is very comfortable but sometimes that mid foot cushioning can make you a bit unstable even when walking, still a very good shoe.

I found a few colors of Go Walks at Famous footwear for about $15 off the regular price.

This is what I bought for my family's upcoming trip.. We have been wearing them for about 2 weeks and all love them!

Are they memory foam?

I have both the Go Walks and the Go Run. The Go Walk have "air bubbles" on the sole and are like walking on marshmellows - so soft. The Go Runs (I do not run) have the memory foam and are really also comfortable. They both are light weight.

I would definitely recommend them.

I recently wore them on a trip to New Orleans. I walked between 7-10 miles per day while I was there (I wear a fitbit to track my steps). the Sketchers GoWalk were so comfortable to wear the entire trip, and my feet never hurt even with all that walking. The nice thing is that they are machine washable, and really hold up after being washed, and still fit well, etc., unlike some shoes that claim to be washable, but then are never the same afterwards. I plan to pick up at least another pair in another color for my October WDW trip.

I don't know how similar they are, but I am a photographer and recently purchased the Go Run (in black!) to wear to shoot weddings. I find them very comfortable and am thinking I'll bring them with me for our October WDW trip.

I have never in my life owned such a comfortable pair of shoes!!! I added gel insoles for a bit more arch support and they are HEAVEN! I don't even need my orthopaedics and I don't have sore feet at night anymore. I can not recommend them enough!

Wow - thanks, everyone, for all of the great feedback. Gotta buy a pair!

With everyone talking about the GoWalks, I went to the Skecher's site to look at a pair for my wife. I see a number of different GoWalk styles (a bunch) and even GoWalk2 is now out there.

Are all the different versions the same (comfort-wise for walking) except the styling? If not, I'd love to know the difference, or get specific style recommendations for her. I see some look like slippers almost, while others look more like a tennis shoe.

Anyone know the difference between the GoWalk and GoWalk2?

The fabric might be different it the style, but I believe the technology is the same. I love mine and I have 5 pairs- wore them to Disney last year and to work. If you're walking, I've heard that walking shoes are better for your feet than running shoes.

I bought a pair the week we before we went in February, and I wore them with no problems. Wish I could afford more pairs in different colours!

I have two pairs I wore to work (standing for 8+ hours) and they're comfy. But they get stinky if you don't wear socks....
