DH and myself only. 5/23 for Anniversary at CR Garden Wing.

You're aboard the LOG-ORAIL and picking up steam - your vacation is just around the corner, but you are semi-logged, did you want me to include your departure date?

We check in Nov. 30th and check out Dec. 7th. Just me and DH.

Five passengers for Sept. 10-16th!! Excited beyond measure!! I think everyday my girls ask to see the rooms/the pool/our itinerary (finally got that worked out)...only 123 or so more days!! So excited!!

I've got room for five - but is this BLT or CR?

Thanks! When I called a couple of months ago to find out when the earliest I could book would be, it was explained that it worked like ADRs... If I called 499 from my arrival date, I could book my whole trip. This makes sense of it all now! The CM I spoke with this time said to call back in a couple of weeks to see if the rooms had opened up and never once mentioned 499 days. Looks like I'll be calling back today instead!
Honestly, I feel kind of silly that I didn't figure that out on my own...
I guess since I got different info from different CMs each time I called, it was all sort of just running together in my mind. Thanks again!

I was told this too but it's not true. If you want to book your entire stay then you have to call 499 days from your CHECK OUT date. Since I was booking a split stay, I could call for the first resort three days into my trip minus 499 days but I had to wait another 8 days to book the rest of my trip. Every website I looked at said it was your check in day but CRO said they cannot pull up each night until each night goes past the 499 day mark.

We are only staying one night! wah!!!! My father in law is having some health issues so we are flying in and staying one night then driving 90 mins to visit him at least one night , maybe two and we fly home 27th. Hopefully we can sneak to the beach or back to Disney for another night before going home. Our first disney trip without kids but not going exactly as planned.

I have stayed in the tower , MK view before and BLT too but this will be first in the garden wing. I think it will be nice with just the two of us! I am going to ride ME, go on monorail, ride a boat and make the best out of a night without kids or park tickets

We did. Going back to WL 9/7-9/14 standard view. We were debating trying POR RR to save even more money but just couldn't give up "home".

I just finished reading this entire thread and all I have to say is WOW. You guys are awesome! Thank you so much for sharing all of your knowledge!

I think that a room in the garden wing would be perfect for my family. I just had a couple of questions (if these have been answered already, I apologize, I missed it).
-What kind of locking mechanism is on the sliding patio doors? Is there a security bar?
-For any who have stayed garden wing, standard view, first floor, when sitting on the patio did you have a lot of people walking/driving by? Did the patio feel really "exposed"?
