FINALLY!!! After waiting an hour and 58 minutes I got 9/4-9/11 @ CSR with free dining AND a CRT adr during Wishes on 4/8!!! Life's good

It all works out in the end! So happy for you and SCORE on the CRT during wishes!! We had that once and it was a great experiencing it in a whole new way.

Garden Grill is probably my overall FAVORITE! The dining experience is more intimate-you sit in a "u" shaped booth and cannot see the other diners-which means a lot less noisy. Outstanding character interaction! Great as a first place for young children who are more leary of the characters. They can be behind the table and between parents and they don't feel as though the characters are invading their personal space. Food is great too!

Forgot to mention it slowly rotates providing different scenery as you dine.

How long does the dinner usually take? We are booked for 6:00 and we are going to go to Universal Studios afterwards (Our trip is combined with a work convention and the company is renting out Universal from 7:30 - 10:30, wish they would have told me that BEFORE I made my ADRs and plan.) and if we can get there by about 8:00 we'll be happy!

I know some who have been on hold since 7 and still are on hold.

Can you try for an earlier adr time. Just because you are set for 6 doesn't necessarily mean you will be taken then although we have never waited very long there. I *think* dining usually takes about an hour give or take but you could be seated at 6:20. I'd try for an earlier time just to ensure getting there on time and not having to rush.

Apparently there's a different line for TAs...mine just posted on FB a few minutes ago that she's been on hold since 7 am!!

I am a TA also...still waiting since a few minutes after 7. My first call had a technical issue so I called back. Really shocked it has been this long. I am about to risk it and get in the shower...I am going to be so late for my "other" job.

Where do I find that at? I'm at My Reservations but it says my detail payment info is unavailable at this time.

As soon as I finished the booking it had all the details and said "please print this page for your records" so I printed.

It says in a couple of places the vacation package name as MYW+FD

Just a note that their website says moderates and values from September 14-25. This is wrong. In fact, I priced both a moderate and a value beginning on September 2 for six nights and it gave me free dining for both. I did that to test it, so it appears their dates are wrong on their special offer.

Anyone doing a split stay?? Wanting to book POFQ for three nights with dining plan- The day we are doing MNSSHP is going to be a leisurely day and I am thinking about doing AK Lodge with the room discount the last night b/c I wont be able to afford it without discount and what better time to check it out... )) Will I regret doing this?

upgrade from pop 9 nights to PO French 1/4 gardenview for $490

so my free dining costs $49 a day for the three of us and an upgraded hotel. THIS ROCKS.

on phone at 7am and on phone 35mins including transfer to dining section to vary my CRT reservation

Hard to say definitively, but Disney is not known to be slow. If you want to save time, think about driving to Epcot and leaving from there to Universal. Disney transportation could be the biggest time eater.

So how does free dining work with the ADRs I already made?

Do I have to change anything from my cc. to dining plan?

Or do I just pay with the room card to get the credits when we walk up there to eat?

If any you made a pre-paid, call Dining reservations and have them add your dining plan and then they won't charge you.

If none of them are, then you just show up at your ADR and they'll ask you at the table if you are on the dining plan, and then when you pay you give them your room card.
