Why would you need to upgrade...couldn't you just buy the ticket amount you wanted with your package? It doesn't have to match your nights...it can be for any offered amount.

Why would it cost you more? It should save you money to do the split stay to take advantage of the FD promo. Also, you wouldn't need to "upgrade" your tickets, you would simply be picking up your package tickets early.

She said two packages, not a room only and a package. She even bolded the word. Of course, you are right, there is no need to book two packages. The normal split stay would be very cost saving. I just hope the new magic band system doesn't negatively impact the early ticket pickup option. We will be the first ones to hear about it, though. I'm certain of that. Cheshire Figment is great at keeping us all in the loop.

Not yet, but there have been rumors that they may be rolled out later this year.

I noticed in the user agreement for My Disney Experience Moble app that it says if you select the option for FastPass+ you forfeit your right to paper tickets and may use only RFID tickets. Not sure if that means bracelets or whatever, but I thought that was an interesting part of the agreement. (I NEVER read those things...it caught my eye as I scrolled past.)

My family is wanting to book free dining deal for sept. It's my DD's birthday around the time we are wanting to go. she wants a friend to go as well. If I go ahead and book can I add her friend later? What happens if the deal has expired can she still be added? Help! I don't want to be out any money.

You can add the friend to the reservation any time up to 72 hours before check in. She can be cancelled anytime without penalty until 45 days before check in.

Staying past the 25, or checking in after the 25? You may want to call in to get a different CM

Call back!!! That is wrong. I booked yesterday for Sept 22 thru 28. You do have to check in by the 25th, but then it CAN be applied to your total trip.

My amazing travel agent applied FD to our stay this morning-- Sept. 2-9 at POR! We're currently in a standard room and trying to decide if we want to upgrade to preferred or a Royal room with the extra funds!
Soooooo excited this discount finally came out! Our trip feels so much more real now!

Get the preferred.. You won't regret it's proximity to everything
