Welcome to my dining review!
I am currently writing a full trip report, but wanted to be able to do a dining review as well, because stalking the dining reviews is how I decide what I want to do!

Liberty Tree Tavern

Last time we tried to go to Liberty Tree Tavern I ended up sick in the bathroom from a migraine. This time I am VERY happy to report that I got to eat!

We arrived about a half hour early for our 6:45 reservation, but were seated after only a short wait.

As we were seated I was given the bill of fare

Our server Eric seemed a little overwhelmed with the large party seated next to us, and the large family across the room. However, he did keep our meal moving which was good!

I ordered a glass of milk, and Josh got a Coke.

We started with Declaration Salad! Tossed mixed greens with house-made dressing

I was good and ate a full serving of salad!

As we were enjoying our salad we were brought rolls and honey butter. Josh ate 6 of these&.

Once we were finished with the rolls and salad the rest of the food came!
Patriot's Platter - Roasted turkey breast, carved beef, and sliced pork, with mashed potatoes, seasonal vegetables, herb-bread stuffing and macaroni and cheese

Mac and Cheese.

This was good, but not the best thing on the table. I had some, and so did Josh, but mine is better!

Mashed Potatoes and Gravy

SO GOOD. I love mashed potatoes and gravy. These were really good too, and nice and creamy.

Green Beans

I love how these were cooked with garlic, and were still crispy. So yummy!

Roasted Vegetables

We really enjoyed these. They really had a roasted taste to them, and it were fantastic.

The meat platter (surrounded by the rest!)

This is where I like to over eat! I LOVED the turkey and stuffing! The beef, and the ham were both good as well! I love to cover the turkey in gravy and the stuffing was full of flavor!

Of course we finished our meal with the house dessert!
Johynny Appleseed's Cake -Tavern made white cake filled with apples and Craisins dried cranberries, topped with ice cream

THIS WAS SO GOOD.
I know not everyone loves this, but the cake was sweet but not too sweet, and you cant go wrong with vanilla ice cream!

The total cost before tip for this meal was 68.14.

We LOVE this place and will be back!

We've never tried Liberty Tree, but it looks great!!!! You did an awesome job with the pictures :thumbsup2
I can make our ADRs this Tuesday.............oh man, I thought I had everything all ready to book, then you go and give me second thoughts.

I am an ADR changer.... even when I think I know what I want, half the time I end up changing my mind a week later!

Great start!

Thank you!

Glad you got your memory card:thumbsup2 because your pics are really good. I like Liberty tree tavern but Scott, my DH, did not so we haven't been back. I am going to have to threaten, I mean persuade him to go back some time.

We haven't been to LTT for dinner since it stopped being a character meal. Your pictures are making me think about going back! Great start ... looking forward to more!

That was terrible. What if I had forgotten the whole camera! OMG

Oh yea, I've done that MANY times! I don't think there has been a trip yet when I haven't changed things several times :rotfl:
Planning is half the fun I think!
Yum! We haven't tried LTT yet..maybe soon! ;)

Ready to read more reviews!

I think you should try it!

It is worth the sit down credit even without the characters!

The Mara

This morning’s breakfast was an out of pocket purchase. We had gotten the dining plan, so we were both able to get coffee for free!

I got the kid’s Mickey waffles a steal at just 4.99

This came with fruit, bacon, waffles and a small juice!

As always they were amazing. I am not the biggest waffle person, but something about Mickey makes these so much better. I like to slather them in butter.

Josh got a croissant sandwich. At $5.99 it sure didn’t break the bank!

Josh says this was messy, but really good. The croissant was cut really weird, so the sandwich didn’t really want to stay together which made it a challenge to eat.

We also shared a banana that was $1.50. I am a bit disappointed that fruit is that expensive for a single serve piece. It wasn’t even that expensive at the airport!

We love the Mara, and it appears several more times in this trip!

great pics! I am signing on and looking forward to your reviews! We leave in 24 days and I can't wait!!

Gotta just pop in and say GREAT!!!! Name for your Thread :rotfl2:

Love that lady!!

Your pics look super as well.

Happy planning y'all!

Great start - count me in :thumbsup2
I am edging towards lunch at LTT rather than dinner as I HAVE to try the Ooey Gooey Toffee Cake but your dessert at dinner looks really nice as well

Great start to your reviews, however I'm with Linda, I have GOT to try the Ooey Gooey Toffee Cake.

I must admit, your dinner looked really good :thumbsup2

Oh I LOVE reading your reviews!

It was great to see a review of LTT dinner because lunch seems the more popular meal there. My boyfriend is now very excited to eat there after seeing the size of your glass of milk!

You're right about the kids' breakfast being a steal. That's a lot of food for less than $5 - even if the bacon does look rather pathetic!
