Disney Fantasy Back-2-Back March 16th-23rd and March 23rd-30th, 2013

Hi Julia! Finally checking in! I forgot to click on the FB link you sent :hippie: then I was wondering where your TR was. :rotfl: Now back to read.

Hi Julia! :wave2:

Thanks so much for posting your trip report and thanks to you and your dad for EXCELLENT pictures! We're going on the Fantasy for the first time next year and we can't wait!!!! :sunny:

Woke up around 7:00am. Dad was out of the room again getting us drinks, so I got ready for the day and watched some tv. Dad got back and we headed up to Cabanas for breakfast. After breakfast went back to the room and brushed my teeth and grabbed my ipad and left dad in the room. I sat by Cove Cafe and read for about a hour or so. Decided I want a drink so went to get a chai at Cove Cafe.

After that went back to the room and put my ipad away and then headed down to deck 4 and people watched for a while and saw the Princess Gathering going on.

Went to the shops and bought a few things and then brought that back to the room. Can't remember what I did, but I think I walked around for a while. Met up with dad and we headed to the Castaway Club Reception in The Tube.

Talked with Clayton at the reception again. After that went back to the room for a second and dropped off some stuff and then went and grabbed some lunch from deck. Got a Bacon Cheese Burger. Headed to Meridian for the Martini Tasting again, Melissa did it again and it was just as good as the last time. Nycolas was helping out this week, so someone I knew lol. Here is what we got.

And Melissa making them

Dad enjoying one of them

After the tasting took a picture from the back on the ship.

Left dad and went to get some ice cream. Walked around and sat on deck 4 for a while. Met up with dad at 3:00pm and we went to see Aladdin since last cruise, we saw it, but didn't really remember it. After that I headed back up to the room to shower and get ready for formal night. Dad came back to the room sometime as well. We took pictures.

Headed to people watched for a while in the Atrium and I took a picture of us.

I went to Aladdin again. Went to see John Cassidy family show in The Tube after that. Headed to Formal dinner which was in Enchanted Garden tonight. After dinner went to the room and saw this.

Head to the Tube and saw Majority Rules and then went to Walt Disney Theatre for John Charles adult show, after that it was 70's Remix followed by DJ Keeno in The Tube so went back there for that and had to see Billie and Christina, my favorites on the ship. After a while called it a night and left. Went and grabbed a drink on deck 11 and then headed back up to the stateroom for the night and passed out.

Next Up: Day At Sea

I am enjoying your trip. We are cruising Western Itinerary in August. Thanks for all the info you have supplied.

I do have a question though. On the first day of the 2nd cruise, you state "After we headed back to the stateroom and then we headed to Skyline for drinks, we ended up buying the passport which was a good idea."

What is the passport?

Thanks,

Thanks,

It's a thing for drinks, can't explain it well. You get 8 drinks with one free

Oh Like a punch card. Great thanks,

We've cruised before but had not heard of that one before. I'm sure my DH will get use out of that.

Thanks,

The Passport is offered at the Skyline. You pay $60.00 and get seven Martini's, so it's a buy six get one free(depending on which drinks you choose). They keep the booklet at the bar until you finish your last drink then you get it to bring home as a souvenir. It has recipes for some of the martinis on the menu and I think what you drink is marked on it. I enjoyed it and will do it again.

You would know you are the one that bought it. I knew one free drink

Woke up around 7:30am, dad was out of the room getting us drinks again. Turned on the tv for a while and watched it. Started getting ready for the day. Dad come back and we hung in the room for a while. Dad decided to leave and we planned to meet up outside Palo's for brunch at 10:00am. I chilled in the room for a while longer.

lovely view from the room.

After a while left and walked around the ship a little. Went to look in the shops again. Finally it was time to meet my dad so I headed up to Meridian to meet him. We had to wait a little for them to open, but Olivera came a got us once again. Palo Brunch was great once again. So many food selections.

Here's some of what dad got

and here's some of what I got.

We also had a lovely view.

I enjoyed brunch as you can see.

At the end of it all we got a picture with Olivera.

Headed back to the stateroom to change after that and then went and watched the Character Dance Party.

Walked around for a while and ended up sitting on deck 4 for a while. Went to O'Gill's Pub and got a O'Gill's. Went and got a ice cream because I had not eaten since brunch and went back to the room for a while. Headed to the Tequila & Margarita Tasting at The Tube again which Christina did again this time and was fun once again.

After the tasting headed to deck 11 and got a soda and then headed to the room to shower and get ready for the show and dinner. Dad didn't see the show tonight, but I went, though half way through I thought I had lost my camera so I left and went to guest services, wasn't there. So I went back to the stateroom to make sure it wasn't there and it wasn't. Met up with dad in The Tube for John Charles and we asked Christina if she had seen a camera left there and she didn't. John Charles adult show was great. After that we headed back to the stateroom so dad could change for dinner, on the way I looked through my purse once more and found my camera. Dinner tonight was good once again. After dinner went to the room and saw this.

then headed to The Tube and saw John Cassidy adult show which was good. After that got a beer and hung out at the bar.

GUest DJ Keeno played music after that so stuck around for a while and some people actually got my up to dance, got the nickname Williams(I was wearing a Deron Jersey) tonight. Left The Tube at some point and went to get a soda and then headed back to the stateroom for the night.

Next Up: St. Thomas.

I would panic if I lost my camera. I once lost one of the memory cards, but I didn't notice it till I got home and luckily it was one with not the most important pictures, but it sure bummed me.

I'm surprised I didn't panic much lol, this happened twice before and both times it was returned so guess I just didn't panic because of that. I did actually end up having it. Just miss placed in my purse which is full of stuff
