I would direct you to Guest Services as that's where they are handled on the classic ships. But recently I read that La Piazza is the place.

Check your Navigator that you get when you checkin at the port, it will tell you for sure.

In march we signed up at guest services

And we signed up at La Piazza as per the instructions on the Navigator that we received as we boarded the ship. This leads me to believe that u can sign up in either place. I don't doubt that Guest Services would direct you to the appropriate place in any case.

Let us know when you do sign up where you went - we were wondering the same thing and and we leave in 8 wks! Could it be sign up at La Piazza between 1-3 and guest Services before or after those times?

We were on the Wonder about 2 weeks ago and did the mixology class. We signed up at guest services when we boarded. Pros and cons: we learned a little about mixing drinks BUT we aren't heavy drinkers and I got extremely drunk and sick from it. I was thinking it would be more frufru dinks like piña coladas, etc but we had a manhattan, a kamikaze, a tall drink who's name I don't remember, a yellow bird (no one liked it) and a shot. A few people didn't show up so there were extra drinks (those kamakazes go down smooth then kick you). I wish they had a handout so I could remember half the stuff otherwise the bartender did a good job. Bottom line...if you like to drink mixed drinks a lot then it's worth the money; in retrospect I wish we'd done the wine tasting instead.

We sailed on the Fantasy this past March. When we boarded I went straight to guest services to sign up. I heard it booked up very quickly. At $15 pp we felt it was a great deal and really had a good time. In fact at least half of the group were DISers! :thumbsup2 It was a highlight for us.

We got in on a private Mixology class with a group from our FB cruise group, but I did see that you could sign up for them and other tastings at Guest Services as they're offered throughout the cruise.

As for Mixology itself, DH and I will absolutely 100% do it again. It was alot of fun and with the guidance of the Skyline (on the Fantasy) bartender Damian, we made 5 drinks. We had a group of 18 or 20, so 4-5 people made each drink for the entire group. Everyone got a chance if they wanted, and if there was someone who didn't want to make drinks, you could go a second time. :)

We signed up at guest services as soon as we got on board and yes, did see people signing up at La Piazza later in the day.

We signed up at LaPiazza. We were there right at 1pm. Our cruise it sold out within an hour!
We absolutely loved it! Met some couples we hung out with the rest of the week.
Damien is a great bartender.

they had La Piazza open when boarding started for sign ups, so you could sign up both places

We signed up for mixology class at La Piazza the first day after boarding. There were 3 of us and none were serious drinkers. What a blast! We had a great time and not because of the alcohol. The group interaction was fun. The drinks were tasty. And we learned lots (probably because we don't know that much about mixed drinks lol). You don't have to drink what you make and no one cares if you only taste. It really was a fun time and now I know how to uncork a bottle of bubbly the correct way. Well worth the money.
