Hangers

Are there a lot of hangers in the stateroom closets? Usually, when we stay at a hotel, we have to bring extra hangers because there are usually only a half dozen or so in the closet. Do we need to pack extra hangers or are there plenty available in the stateroom closet?

I don't remember there being a lot of them. I'm wondering if you could request more from your room steward...

Have not counted the hangers, but there are two closet areas side by side (Magic and Fantasy both had) and there were several 6-12 in both sections. If you need more if you ask your room attendant I'm sure they would be able to assist you.

IMO, I thought there were plenty on the Fantasy. We hung my entire week's wardrobe, along most of with DD's and some of DH's, between both closets.

They SURE do make a lot of noise when the empty ones clang together though!! :)

If there are not enough hangers in the closet, just as your room host for more.

If I recall correctly, there were at least 15 or 20 on our last cruise.

There never seem to be enough hangers for us. Fortunately your room steward will provide more - just ask.

They clang together when you've packed up the last night ready to go home -- it's the closet's way of telling you that it's sad you're leaving.

Tip to prevent that: Take one of the bath towels and run it through the center of the triangle (bottom) part of the empty hangers in each closet.

^^That is too funny :)

I do think there are a decent amount of hangers especially since it's two wardrobes however the last cruise I brought my own plastic hangers (about 5 of them) and was glad I did. They don't weigh hardly anything and didn't take up much room in the suitcase. You can usually find them 10 for $1.00 at the dollar store.

I'll likely pack several in each suitcase for the trip to Alaska next month too.

Hi Kennywood! I sure miss that place. It's been several years and need to get back to the burgh to experience it again. I always remember on the first Friday in June that the kids are having their school picnic day and remember what a fun time that was for so many years.

Hello fellow pittsburghers.
We will be making the 17 hr drive to port in 21 days.
Btw I used to work at kennywood in hs. I think of it has training for my Disney career someday. Lol

Today is the first day of the season for Kennywood. So, that means.....

Kennywood's Open!

Those from Pittsburgh will get the double entendre'...lol

On the Fantasy last year we had too many hangers and gave some back to have room in the closet. We also give back the pillows on the sofa too. Just don't like them.

I was amazed how many hangers we had on our 4 day Dream! Usually you don't have enough but we had a generous plenty!
