Yacht Club Deluxe Rooms, Suites, VP and Presidential Rooms

I have a question for you please. We have a WL Deluxe room booked. I have been told ALL of them have a connecting door. My husband hates those! My question is did they have someone in that room? Can you hear them? Thanks!

There was a connecting door in the living room area but I never heard noise from the other room. I don't know if anyone else was in that room. I liked it because there were doors to separate the living room and the bedroom. So if someone wanted to stay up late watching tv it didn't disturb those who wanted to go to bed early.

We've stayed at the WL twice, but never in a deluxe room. We are a family of 4 and don't need the extra space, but those deluxe rooms do look nice. The WDW site is showing pictures of a YC deluxe CL room that seems to be 2 rooms separated by french doors, but I'm not sure if that's an accurate pic or not. I can't figure out why it's so hard to come across pics and/or info about those rooms .

I believe they removed the french doors. I agree, I don't know why it's so difficult to get info on these rooms. If there's anyone out there who has been in a deluxe cl room recently. Please post some pics!

Ahhhhh Dee I miss my room We are coming back to YC, but staying in 2 CL rooms. The benefit of that is being on the same floor as the lounge at least

It was amazing to sit on the balcony and watch Illuminations (sorry no pics of that)

Of course not!! And it brought back how sweet the YC CMs were! I still chuckle of how upset I was that we were walked from GF...I would've missed out on the wonderful suite

The two bedroom Turret suites are located on 1st, 2nd,3rd,4th floors.. we were upgraded to 3rd floor which was 3155

Room 3155, Turret Suite, 2 Bedroom/3 Bathroom​

Hey folks... Thought I would give my thoughts on our recent stay at Yacht Club as a first timer.

Getting off Magical express on Sunday morning in front of the resort was actually kind of magical. The resort is very beautiful... (I know you all know this but this was my first time back to Disney in 25+ years and first time ever staying on property for my Wife and me.)

We were greeted by some very helpful cast members who directed us to the check-in area. We were acknowledged by a gentleman who was dressed up in some yachting regalia but it was only a cursory glance and welcome... he seemed stiff and uncomfortable.

Check-in was very smooth and the cast members were great. We were told that we were Upgraded to Club level! YAY! We had reserved a standard garden view so we were excited about that. One of the CM's winked and said she thought we would REALLY like the upgrade. I didn't know why but was very grateful to be club level. ( we had no idea what was coming). We did not ask for any upgrades or favors. We were celebrating 5 years together and I think my TA put that in our reservation. (maybe that had something to do with it?)

The room was immediately ready and so we went up to the room. ( Room 3155 )
We were a bit perplexed as to why our room number was on three different doors and it started to sink in a little. We opened up the room and discovered that we had been upgraded to the Turret Suite which is a two bedroom / three bathroom suite. HOLY COW! I mean... HOLY COW this room was amazing!
I have included some pictures below. ( I had a panoramic but it wouldn't allow me to upload it.)

The room was amazing. The cast members were also amazing and so very helpful with everything. This, as I said was our first experience with staying on property and we will DEFINITELY do it again. I can not say enough good things about this resort and we can not wait to come back.

Some overall thoughts:



- Lots of space, the bedrooms being on either side of the suite would be good for traveling families/couples that want some separation.

- I'm biased, but I like CL at YC a lot, so that's always nice. It is a long'ish, but pretty easy trek to the lounge from this room. You could have a longer walk at the end of the CL floor for some rooms.

- Three full bathrooms would really come in handy for some traveling parties. A combination of showers and tubs helps with adults/little ones as well.

- Good central room location within the context of the resort - easy to get to everything.

- Reasonably good views from both bedrooms, although the balconies are kind of small'ish. I think maybe I was expecting a bigger "wow" balcony with the suites, but that's not the case with this particular suite type. It's OK.

- No full-sized fridge and no full-sized sink, there are other WDW suites that have more of a real kitchen if that is something that is important to you.​
