Yea I passed rofr.

So...now what?

I am using TSS. Any idea of how long to get closing docs...actually close...and then get points?

This is a VGC.

Thanks...it's a small contract but thought it would be fun to take the girls for a weekend getaway once a year to stay at DL.

I am anxious to get in the system and book our getaway!

We also got word we passed today! Third time was a charm. Can't close till June but that's ok. SSR 225 65 per pt. starting 2014. Now will begin looking for a smaller contract better price, try to find something around 160 pts. If possible. Congrats to all others who passed, looking forward to meeting some of you when we travel there in Jan

Congrats!

We will be there in January before our Eastern Caribbean cruise .

I got my clsoing documents to sign within 48 hours and I was informed on clsoing within 3 days. That was 10 days ago and still waiting for points to appear in my account though.

What broker were you using? I heard disney was taking up to three weeks now to load the points.

I purchased a small contract through TSS -- it took a week to receive my closing documents after being notified of the ROFR waive. I closed a week after my closing documents were received by the title company. It's almost been 2 weeks since closing, and I'm still waiting on my membership number and points...

Wow..that's certainly longer than I would have expected.

I closed in March on an add on contract. Here's our timeline after passing ROFR:

2/20- passed ROFR
2/27- closing docs received, signed and overnighted back with final payment
2/28- our docs and payment received by closing company
3/8- deed recorded on orange county website (I did not look this up until 3/18 though)
3/11- notified by broker that we closed
3/19- see AKV showing up on DVCmember.com under our existing membership (HH points) in the morning and w/in a few hours points were loaded. We booked a Xmas trip by 3pm (2BR and studio at AKV-Kadani).
3/25- got letter with member # (which we already knew)

Is 60 to 75 days an accurate total time line?

:earsboy: Bill

That would've been nice. We passed rofr on 22nd. 32 days after submitted & got word today that Sharon approved the closing docs. We should have them w/in 2 days she said. Nothin like takin forever. Got a vacation to book for later this year, hope theres somethin left!
