Great today is ADR day and Disney has the entire system down.

Oh Petey, that stinks! I hope they will get the site up and running soon! Sending pixie dust your way.
pete Oh goodness I am so sorry. I forgot I got an email that the system was going down. I didn't realize they were even taking dining down too! It will be back up "this afternoon."
I'm just wondering what Disney considers afternoon....
You know at 12:01 you'll have people complaining ITS AFTERNOON I WANT TO MAKE MY RESERVATIONS!
I guess I should run my errands now, so I'm not out and about when it goes live again.
OMG....just changed my signature in anticipation of tomorrow....tomorrow I will be the mother of a 9 year old!!!
I can't believe that my sweet baby girl will be 9 tomorrow. Where does the time go???
wookie His neuro had suggested it. I hemmed and hawed about for about 4 months but decided to try it. It is NOT the end of the world. I've given it to Lily a few times. There is nothing wrong with it. If you can get him to swallow pills, do that. The liquid is NASTY.
Good Morning!
Thank you all for your kind words . You guys are the best!
I'm feeling a change coming on for August. After another trip enjoying being spread out, I think it's beyond time for us to try out larger accommodations. Everyone is just so much happier when we aren't on top of each other. Six in one room is
That said, I think we are going to bite the bullet and try offsite. We don't use the DDP or EMH. We can get a free minivan rental with rewards from all of DH's work related travel (and prefer driving to busses/ME anyway). APs pay for parking. We never have stuff shipped to our room and I'm used to carrying APs/Room Key/Gift Cards anyway so the KTTW thing is no big deal for us. I think all of the typical onsite bennies may be lost on us Except for close proximity to parks, I guess. And the magic... There is the magic.
Anyway, I got some quotes for WBC awhile back, I'm gonna try to see if they still have room. Right now I'm thinking Poly CL for 3 nights (gotta try a refurbed Hawaii for a least a part of the trip! ) Then do 7 nts at WBC.
Grumpy Grandma - Was it you that liked WBC? I may need to hear some offsite love to make this work.

Hey everyone. I just found this thread. Although, I have been to Disney several times, I'm finding myself switching resorts for this trip.
Originally, I was going to WDW on July 2 and checking into BWV then checking out July 3 and into BLT then checking out July 4 and checking into the Dolphin then checking out July 5 and checking into BWV and leaving WDW on July 7. I ended up cancelling our reservation for the Dolphin on the night of July 4-5 and made a reservation for another night at BWV (cash reservation and not points) so that we don't have to switch so much. (We rented points and cannot switch these reservations)
Then I heard that my family was going to Florida too and would be at their vacation home on June 25. I then decided to extend my vacation without my husband as he has to work. I was going to stay with them for the 5 days before I check into BWV on July 2.
But because there would be 11 of us in the house together, I figured 5 days was too much so then I decided to book a hotel offsite for 2 days. I then booked the Wyndham in DTD. But then I noticed that with the rental car, resort fees, etc. I might as well just book a Disney resort.
So then I booked 2 nights at AoA in a LM room. I am super excited as I have never stayed here before as DH would never stay at a value. And just this week, I realized that with 2 little kids, staying at Disney would be much easier than staying at my parent's vacation house for 3 nights so I looked into staying at Disney the entire 5 days.
First I booked 3 nights at All Star Music. Then I cancelled it and booked 3 nights at POR in a Garden View as it was only $100 more. Then I cancelled it and booked AoA because a LM room at AoA magically appeared for June 27, when it had not been available prior to this. But then I started to miss the idea of staying at POR. I have never stayed there before and since DH isn't with me, now is my only chance as he will only stay deluxe. So I rebooked POR. But now I am having second thoughts about switching so much POR to AoA to BWV to BLT and back to BWV lol. I am thinking to just stay the first 5 nights at AoA and then switch to BWV when DH arrives. Logically this makes sense. However, POR sounds lovely enough to add to my insane hotel hopping. Ahhh this Disney vacation planning is stressful or maybe it's just me? lol

I am so tired that when I read the first part, I thought that tomorrow you were adopting a 9 year old. Then I read the 2nd part and was like, "yeah, I just need to go back to bed".
Yes I will be at WDW in August near your dates. This one is for a little MNSSHP time. .... We stayed at Doubletree Suites for our first night on a few occasions several years ago when our work schedule was REALLY unpredictable. It was nice and roomy.Magic (and sjs) - did I miss a RC/date change somewhere? I think Magic will be at WDW same time I am (and Kook) but I didn't know sjs would too?? ..... We had good luck with the Doubletree Suites near DTD, but then again, we are Hilton people. But it was definitely more reasonable than on site..
I would say no to the GFC and Wave ADRs. I'd just wing it. I like your plan of getting your 2 big ressies made for your special dates and then RELAXING and going with the flow.My parents left this morning. Glad to report that no adult-sized Time Out chairs were needed over the weekend. ..... Any of you know whether I'd need a lunch ADR for the Grand Floridian Cafe? Or The Wave for breakfast? Was thinking about keeping it simple with ADRs this time so I don't hyperventilate and feel pressured. I've only got 2 ADRs at the moment... Thinking about adding lunch at GF Cafe during one of the days but wanted to keep the schedule fairly open.
Aww jeez, please don't tell me you are a Paul Blart fan, too??!!As Paul Blart said, "Peanut butter fills the cracks in your heart." So true, so true...
Oh Petey, that stinks. I had that happen a few months back. It sooooooo pops the bubble. Stay positive!Great today is ADR day and Disney has the entire system down.
Classic!! lol lol lolThen I read the 2nd part and was like, "yeah, I just need to go back to bed".
My aunt & uncle are "golf" people and they stay at all the beautiful Marriott Vacation locations around the WDW area. They've gone all over the world and they come back every year for 6 weeks to the area. We've visited them at several Villas and they are all just beautful. Marriott also does the Autograph at Celebration which we enjoyed A LOT!I think we are going to bite the bullet and try offsite.
Finally! Enjoy it!Spring is here for sure! The birds are chirping, and the daffodils are blooming.
Who what where when how? I missed this...
Wow! And my DH thought I was off my rocker when I wanted to do 2 nights offsite, 3 nights AKL, then 3 nights CR (after 1 night in hotel on drive down mind you)...

Can you do 5 nights at POR, then the rest at BWV? Are you locked in at BLT?
