December 2013 Pin Code Watch

just guessing here but first weekend in Dec is Christmas Parade taping, and in the past it is also the same time for pop warner cheerleaders have their Cheer & Dance Championships at WDW although this year they are the 7th - 14th

I would say that you are guessing correctly. Pop Warner is going to be the second week this year, but there is still going to be a presence of kids the first week. My DD's high school marching band will be in WDW that week and I'm sure there will be many others. They will be marching in the Christmas Parade. My wife and I have booked our trip for the first week arriving the day after Thanksgiving so that we can watch her perform.

Excellent - I'm going Dec. 1-7 so that would be perfect!

Count me in for 11/30 to 12/6 staying at POP Century. So excited!

We are booked for Nov. 30-Dec 7 at POR. I was hoping this would be a slower week and hoping for a discount.

going Dec13-20... it will be out first trip in 2 1/2 years (as you can see by my signature this is the longest we have ever gone between trips "and it's killing us":( ) it will be the first trip for my grandson an he will be 2 years and 4 months when we go...

Welcome! Time is sure flying

My tickets from UCT arrived today in the grey envelope:banana: they have made there way to the safe.:cool1:

Dates are Dec 21 to Dec 31:stir:

Please add us too! :wave2:We will be there Dec. 15-21. Love Disney at Christmas time! Nobody does it better!
We've been lucky enough to have FD this week in the past and it was AWESOME!!! Though chances may be slim for FD this year, we're still holding out hope. If its not offered, some of our family members will be staying offsite and we would very much love for them to be with us on site. :crowded:

I looked at flights on Jet Blue, they were reasonably priced but we would have to fly from San Jose CA to NYC to MCO, which makes no sense at all! However, it did use the same Disney math, it would be so much less expensive to add a day... :rotfl2:

Any thoughts about flying Virgin America? I'm a pilot for Virgin. We are about to start San Jose service to LAX. You would just need to connect through LAX to MCO. Plus once you fly Virgin you will never want to fly another carrier. Best service in the industry.

My wife and I are planing our Disney trip Nov 30-Dec 7. I'm really bummed that Disney did away with interline rates.

I have to agree. Virgin America rocks.

Greetings! Disboarder TowelGuy and I are planning a trip for December 8-15. Couples trip to WDW!

I used to fly Virgin Upper Class to London every month for most of the 90's for business - I can tell you that experience forever spoiled me for other airlines! :rotfl:

Going through LAX isn't bad at all - I will definitely price this out! Thank you so much for the tip!

So do we think there will even be a room discount for the first week of December? We're going to be booking our flights here as soon as SW opens up and I'd like to know where we're staying soon. I was hoping to rent points, but I think I might be too late :/ Hoping for something for 11/30-12/6!

We are on for Dec 1-6 at POFQ. We went last year during Pop Warner and not going to do that again. They closed too many parks early for special events and not a single night that week was there a Tomorrowland Dessert Party!

Personally, I think the room and free dining discounts will be December 1-5 and December 14-19, give or take a day.

New to the forum here. We have dates planned for December 7-14 but with Pop warner during those times they might change. I would be interested in being added as well. Thanks!

change of plans....we are now going Dec 1-8.... going to Clearwater to see Winter the Dolphin on Nov 30th:woohoo:
