I didn't feel it was right that everyone had to wait until that night. People were already in a frenzy so I spilled the dates. Why make people wait???

I agree. The FD dates were popping up all over the Internet and Disney blogosphere. It's not like the Disboards is the only place to receive leaked discount info - though it is my favorite place to receive leaked discount info ;-)

They are talking about renting points through a timeshare company for a Disney Vacation Club property. You can not rent points and receive the FD discount.

Um, lets not take ourselves too seriously here. While it's great that you share/confirm discounts when you get the info from your friend/family member at Disney, the reality is we are just planning Disney vacations around here, not curing cancer or ending world peace. Getting a heads up on a release date is helpful, but the dates are still going to be released for people to take advantage of, whether they are leaked here or not - TAs have been leaking discouny info on here for years a day or two before release.

Just seems like a very silly post.

Or you don't have nothing interesting to create a thread. Yup, I got the dates earlier that morning with the exception that the US offer would either mirror the rest or at worse be offered a week later. They are in fact mirroring. I can only imagine the frenzy that would have started if people would have been waiting until that night.

Question. If I book at a Value Resort (All Star Sports), and am getting the Quick Service Meal plan with free dining, can I upgrade to the Disney Dining Plan for the difference in cost? We like All Star Sports, and like staying there, but also want the Disney Dining Plan. It seems cheaper by around $350.00 to do this instead of upgrading our room to a Moderate Resort (Caribbean Beach), and getting the free Disney Dining Plan.

Thoughts?

Yes, you can upgrade to the regular DDP.

I have not one time said I knew about the dates you posted? And the only thing I said "I would believe it when I see it" is the fact you stated the LM rooms would be included. That is because they are already showing no availability for some dates in September - that is a fact and had nothing to do with your leaked info. In case you haven't noticed I have very polity answered a couple of hundred FD posts on this thread with accurate information. YOU need to get over yourself and work on YOUR politeness.
