Yes, Ali came home this morning and we got Copper back this afternoon. It was a true blessing and I can not be happier. Someone had Coppi at their house in the pen with their dogs. They saw us searching and told us where to find him. They took good care of my little buddy...he had just gotten there earlier today. I'm assuming both dogs were on their way back home and became separated at some point. I'm just so happy they are all safe and sound tonight. God is good!

I've just been looking at your photos from the Wonder and really enjoying them. Then I got to the part about your dogs going missing and I was so upset for you

I can't tell you how happy I am that they are back at home safe and sound :goodvibes

Thank you so much for the awesome pics and report. I just thought I took some neat pics! I was overwhelmed with my first Disney cruise back in January. 4 nights was not near long enough but it definitely got me hooked! We are sailing on the refurbished Magic on its first sailing with double dip in Castaway Cay! So excited! Thanks again for the great trip report. Tarina

So happy your babies are back home. :)

Me too!!! Thanks Kathy. :)

Thank God for answered prayers. Glad the furkids are safe :)

Exactly. He listens. I see you leave for your cruise in a couple of days. Have fun!!! Post some pics when you get back. What part of SC are you in?

Thank you. Us too. That was the worst two days in a long time. Will Alaska be your first visit on the Wonder? We really loved sailing on her. To visit Alaska would be a Dream come true. I considered it, but I still don't have our passports. :headache:

I am so sorry. :( I hope they come home soon.

They're back!!! :cool1:

That's the way to do it! Two stops at CC. My friends and I were joking around about how DCL should just skip Nassau and stay at CC for two days. Would anyone at all complain? :confused3 I don't think so. :rotfl2:

I went back and pulled up the pix from dining. If you guys are like me that's one of the things you like seeing pics of most. Not sure how I missed uploading that entire section, but I'll make up for it.

We will go back to

First!

This place is so pretty. Honestly I like the old AP just as good as I like it on the newer ships. I love the way they do it all in black and white. While the chairs and such are "un-Disneylike" they are amazingly beautiful. I love the design of both the white and black styles.

APPETIZER'S:

They had a great selection of appetizers at AP. We tried one of everything. I picked a favorite....see below. The fruit was nice and fresh too.

This was so delicious - my favorite!

ENTREE'S:

Sidney had the beef and enjoyed that. I tried the fish. It wasn't the best I've ever had, but it was good. The pasta was yummy. The menu at both the AP's on Wonder and Dream were very similar.

Kid's meal:

DESSERTS:

Always pretty and always good!

Special guest for dinner:

On the Dream Mickey did not make an appearance during dinner. My kids went crazy when he came out. He didn't sign autographs or take pictures with anyone, but it was still cool to see him. It added a lot of excitement to the meal.

And there you have....

yay for food pics :thumbsup2

Our Alaska cruise will be the first time we have sailed on the Wonder and even though we have cruised on the Dream and the Fantasy, we really are looking forward to sailing on a smaller ship and seeing one of the classics :goodvibes

Alaska is the perfect destination to experience the Wonder! It was a lot different than the new ships for sure, but both were special. I'm glad we got to sail on an original before they changed it too much. I'm excited about the new changes in the Magic though. It looks fabulous! The wonder will be getting her makeover soon!

Darn...now I'm hungry again. :lmao::lmao::lmao:

Um, you might want to skip the next few posts then. I'm having lunch as I update and the pics still make me crave nuts and dried fruit. :lmao:

I mentioned in day two that we were on a mission to sample every restaurant for breakfast. It was a sea day and not much started happening until the afternoon, so this was the perfect day to do it. Plus we were hungry that morning. We had an early dinner and crashed shortly after. Unfortunately we woke up super early and had to wait for even Goofy's quick service to open. Man, that felt like it took days!

Goofy's was the first to open, and the only thing that looked good to me was the fresh fruit.

Sidney's plate...

Definitely not my favorite selection of food choices...so I kept it simple.

Beach Blanket Buffet opened next! I like this place. They had the best coconut shrimp I'd ever tasted in my life. They were huge, but it wasn't on today's breakfast menu so I will hush up about those.

We were there first ones in line, only one other family was up by opening. It got crowded shortly after though.

Sidney's plate, I think. I know I did not eat that corned beef hash. Ick. Gross.

Buffet full of yummy breakfast food!

My sampler plate...

By the time we were done this place was full!

Triton's was our sit down fancy meal of the day...not a whole lot of people were in there with us. This place doesn't stay open for long. It felt like lunch and breakfast never fit well with the ships schedule of events. You either ate lunch or made a towel animal. Couldn't do both.

Sidney ordered eggs Benedict

Caison ordered this pancake covered in peanut butter and jelly. I thought it looked disgusting and way too sweet to eat. Sidney ended up tasting it and talked me into trying it too. It was pretty good actually. Fattening as chocolate cake I'm sure but good!

Mine

Beautiful glass with Mickey design! I wouldn't mind having some of this in my house.

Parrot Cay was the last stop of the day! I personally think this restaurant has the best selection of all for breakfast. It's a little dated, the decor and all, but it has that Caribbean flare to it. I love this place!

My sampler plate....yummy, but man I was stuffed.

Sidney----GROSS. That stuff looks like dog food!

Kids plate

We were finished with breakfast and needed to walk some of it off. I know I posted this day already and I may have included the following pictures. I can't remember. Just throwing them in in case I didn't add them before. Enjoy.

Outlook Cafe was empty!

Quick service lunch!

Pizza quick service...I don't think I ever tried pizza here.

Omigoodness! Loving your report. I am not great at pictures so I have a hard time with trip reporting, but I love reading them!

1. Your pictures are amazing. Thanks for sharing.
2. Your life sounds way cool. I loved hearing about your rock friends especially as a teenager from the 80's. I had a continual sound track playing while I read.
3. I did not enjoy the buffet on the wonder. The Dream was better in opinion when it came to fast food.
4. I would have a hard time leaving young ones alone. My kid has some quirks and probably would not stay long due to noise. He did not like the Edge. He watched Disney movies on demand when not doing something with us. He loved it! He is great at relaxing. He is much better at that than me.
5. So happy you found your puppies! That is so scary. I am so sorry about Boo Boo kitty.

We are doing the DVC cruise adults only in September. Due to rebooking discounts, we are sailing concierge over Christmas on the Dream. It was either cheaper than our 1st one or just $500 more. This what we decided to do for presents. We will then go to WL for a few days. On my honor, I will do my best to a trip report in order to honor you all who take care of business.

Thanks!

Oh I am loving this TR, it's getting me even more excited for our cruise :)

A couple of random breakfast questions if I may?

I think your photos have answered this to some degree, but do all the breakfast locations have oatmeal and dry muesli base with lots of toppings (dried fruit, nuts and such)

I love me some oatmeal in the morning and I also love to 'build my own' muesli .... It's the simple things ;)

Also, is the Outlook Cafe similar to the Cove Cafe? - speciality coffees and drinks etc? - it looks like a lovely place to sit

Sorry for all the questions!

He watched Disney movies on demand when not doing something with us. He loved it! He is great at relaxing. He is much better at that than me. It was horrible, but I did it again in March. Had to leave two of three behind when I went on a business trip to Disney. It's getting easier. I jokingly told them next time they all stay home!
5. So happy you found your puppies! That is so scary. I am so sorry about Boo Boo kitty. Boo Boo was almost 20. She was a great cat and was with me most of my life. I miss her, but she's in a happy place now. She was getting old and she wasn't in perfect health anymore. In cat years she was 98! I'm happy my dogs are back with us too. I don't know why they suddenly wanted to run out and see the world.

You will love concierge! It really isn't that much more to experience that and you get so much more. I'm sure you have read all about that already. Ya'll will have a wonderful time. Looking forward to reading. Make sure you lmk when you start it!

Thanks!

I need a cruise booked...like now. I always leave WDW with an other trip or two booked for the future. I need to do the same thing with DCL. :thumbsup2

Great pictures

Thank you! :flower3:

A couple of random breakfast questions if I may?

I think your photos have answered this to some degree, but do all the breakfast locations have oatmeal and dry muesli base with lots of toppings (dried fruit, nuts and such) I did not ask for it in the main dining rooms but I feel sure they have it too. Both buffets had a huge selection with all kinds of toppings too. I'm pretty sure it was an option on your room service door order hang tag too. I didn't order that kind of thing, just regular room service, but I thought I read it on the tag.

I love me some oatmeal in the morning and I also love to 'build my own' muesli .... It's the simple things ;)

Also, is the Outlook Cafe similar to the Cove Cafe? - speciality coffees and drinks etc? - it looks like a lovely place to sit I think Cove is better.

Sorry for all the questions!

No problem at all!

So we skipped the Golden Mickey's show and went shopping. They only have to the two shops and there wasn't a whole lot to choose from really. Seemed like the Dream shops had a lot more personalized items with the ships name on them. Over there we bought T Shirts, photo albums, a mouse pad, towels...all kinds of DREAM items. This stuff was just generic. I thought this was cute...the frosted door.

And I loved the characters everywhere, I'd definitely buy these for my house but they weren't for sale <insert sad face here>.

DCL t shirts! I like the bright yellow but they were not girl cut tops. Oh well.

My kids collect these. I ended up buying both Minnie and Mickey on this past trip.

More decor...aww!

Just waiting to be purchased...to be loved...to go into their forever until we're destroyed home.

Mickey ears...I did not see one person wearing ears while on either cruise. Must not be as popular to sport your ears on the cruise ships as it is in the theme parks.

Love these!

Cool...I like anything with the ship on it, but I didn't feel like wearing mouse ears this time either.

I considered buying these for the tree. I have a Disney tree, all 100% Disney stuff, but our cruise was in January/February. The tree was already packed and I didn't want to go up in the attic to store this away. Maybe next time. I like it a lot though.

This one too.

I like the look of this too.

If only I had room for more coffee mugs....

Okay, I don't even remember seeing this and I took the darn picture. Uh...I should have gotten this with my winnings. Did I mention that yet? Uh oh. That comes out later...

Caison made a friend in the shop. They had a little shoot out.

Located right outside the store...

I want one for the living room!!!

I'm a sucker for a cool window and this is a cool window! Don't you think so?

Hot dog on the beach?

Aww...

A view of it all! I love this area.

We walked around for a while longer. Not much was going on so we went back to our room. We found this!

We had a great stateroom attendant this time. He gave us extra soaps and lotions every night so we'd have extras to bring home. I wrote our entire service staff out one of the longest, most appraising reviews I bet Disney has ever gotten. I thought about facebooking them to see if anyone got a raise. I'm telling you, their "report" could have won awards on its on. These people were fantastic!

Oh, this is something on the Wonder you don't have on the Dream. An extra storage cabinet. We used it for shoes. It was nice having a little extra storage, but it cluttered the room a little too. You could say this was a treasure chest in a way. As you may have noticed we're big time Disney fans, and the more nostalgic the better. Well, Nikki lost one of the free gift charms she got in Grand Cayman and it fell behind the chest. In the process of locating this charm we came across a ton of other lost items. We found jewelry pieces, tons of old literature including a poster DVC used to hand out of the Eiffel tower, socks, and guides from the start of Wonder's sailing! We kept all of the old literature, threw away the clothing, and turned in the odd pieces of jewelry. Wouldn't it be something if someone got their lost earring back 10 years after they sailed? Maybe they did.

Well, it was now time for bed. Tomorrow we would wake up in a whole new place! Somewhere we had yet to explore...a gorgeous island by the name of Grand Cayman! We were very excited and could not wait to see it. We just hope and prayed the people were nothing like those in Nassau.

Hey everyone. Sidney will be running for this event in January. They have a set goal to raise $3,000 for the Give Kids the World charity. If you could donate anything at all it's appreciated. I am also offering free photo shoots when people donate $50 or $100. I can do these at Disney World between 5/29-6/7 or at the end of August. You can find more information on my CNC page via FB.

My friend Candice and her family were recipients of GKTW and they had a wonderful experience. They go all out for these families when they come there. The pictures she posted had me crying for hours. It's such an amazing program and I am so proud of him for doing this. It's his birthday weekend and we had plans to go anyway. He wanted to do a 5K, but now he is doing the marathon instead.
