Dressers in Alligator Bayou?

Considering changing resorts to a preferred room in AB at POR. Judging by pictures, there is no dresser... only a murphy bed, which we would not use. Are those drawers at the bottom of the murphy bed? They look awfully small.

For those who have stayed here, where do you store your foldable clothes? I'm an "unpacker" and don't like to live out of a suitcase on vacation!

Thanks for any help.

They are a decent size. Probably about the same as a dresser drawer. I totally overpacked for both of my girls. It was a surprise trip and they were 11 & 13 when we were there this past Sept. and don't always want to wear what I packed. So I think I packed almost everything they own!! They were able to get a lot of their clothes in the drawers. They left what they didn't plan on wearing in the suitcase. We were there for a week. They each had their own drawer, but I think they could have shared a drawer. I hung most of my clothes in the closet.

Thanks... I will need drawers for me, boyfriend, and 9 year old. It just doesn't look like very much drawer space. Are the drawers really deep, because they don't look wide. (what I'm looking at in the pics is below the murphy bed... is this where you're talking about?)

When we went last year, I fit as much as I could in the drawers and then put the rest folded on the shelf in the bathroom. It all fit fine between those 2 places. I had to fit stuff for 4.

After reading suggestions from other posters here, I plan on bringing two of the sweater compartment hanging things to hang on the bar in the closet/sink area. Not sure how to explain what they are, but you can hang them from a closet bar and they have square compartments you can put folded clothes in. They fold flat so they are easy to pack. We are a family of 5 and are staying for 13 nights so we will need to unpack. There is no way those three little drawers will fit all of our stuff so I'm hoping the sweater hanger things work! I have also heard of people bringing an over-the-door shoe compartment thing to store toiletries and smaller items in.

The 3 drawers are not enough space for my DH and I so I can't imagine where a family of 4 or 5 would put there things (plus we are there for 10 to 14 days and have groceries to store).

The first time we were there after the reno it was hard.
Next time we went I took a "sweater holder" that hangs in the closet and it folds down flat, easy to pack in a suitcase. and it holds a ton of stuff. It was like having a couple dresser drawers.
You can fine them in Kmart, Walmart or Target anywhere from 10 to 20 and well worth it to me.
I do not like parts of the reno, I hate them doing away with the dresser and the murphy bed is way to high off the ground for my liking since a small child will be using it. The new vanity/sink is great, much more storage space on top and bottom. They took out the grab bar that was in the tub area which I thought was a downgrade in safety since anyone can slip in the tub/shower.
POR still remains my favorite though. The ambiance, location and amenities are great.

We stuffed a twin size blanket meant for the trundle in a drawer and it took up the whole drawer, if that helps for reference.

Yes, this is what I'm talking about. They were about as deep as the dresser drawers at other resorts. I think you could probably put some things above the closet too. The hanging thing would work well too.

Thanks! I changed over to POR. We used a hanging closet organizer for misc items at Pop Century. I think I'll get a second one for clothes that don't fit in the drawers.
