The early morning Disney smell!

There is something about getting up early and heading to breakfast or the bus and the smell of Disney!!!! I can't wait for that smell!

I am there with you. I live in Florida and stepped outside the other day and all I could smell was Disney. It made my wait to go back so much worse. LOL

I am right there with all of you! I have been planning this trip since November 2010 and I cant wait to smell that smell. We are staying at the Poly and put that smell ontop of the already wonderful Disney air smell and I will just about lose my mind I only have 4 more months to go, but it really seems like 4 years.

Woke up in the morning on our last trip...stepped out on the porch of our courtyard-view Boardwalk Inn room...the sun was just rising...birds were chirping...there was a quietness that doesn't exist any other time at Disney...and there was that fresh, clean, happy, early-morning wondrous smell of Disney.

I also love the smell of the Florida water in the shower. Can't explain that one, but I hope somebody knows what I mean.

We smelled Disney this morning in WI, because it was our first some what warmer morning, it was a titch damp, and we have a lot of diesel trucks going by our house. That combo smells like disney to us.

So it's not just me?!! I love that early morning smell and feel of disney!! I get up before the wife and kids, so I go get my coffee and stroll around the resort about 5:30 or so and it is the best time . And most time the other people I see at that time of day are all so happy and smiling too!!!

Disney morning smell to me:

Humidity wet smell + tropical flower smell + sunscreen + bacon smell + sugar of pastries smell + cholorine of the pool smell + bus exhaust smell.

I love it! I think of Disney when I smell rain on hot pavement. There's just something about it, I close my eyes and invision myself at MK.

I do believe its a combo of the resort smell of watered grass, sunshine, and bus fuel! And the pursuit of breakfast, fun, anticipation! And good memories to be made and remembered.... Aaaahhhhh!

Upon leaving the house this morning, my DD said, "It smells like Disney World".

She was right too. It was a mild spring morning here. And we just returned for WDW last week.

Often in the spring we will leave for school and one of my beautiful disney loving kids will say "it smells like Disney today". I love that my kiddos love Disney as much as I do. DH says I brain washed them
