You Want to Stay Where?! A July PTR* TR LINK 8/8!

Hey Shannon! I'm back! And caught up! :cool1:

You know I think all your plans are great. :thumbsup2

And I LOVE the maxi dress that you got for Maddie. I so need to find one of those for Willow- she is always asking for a "long" dress.

We're up to the last match ups in the first round folks! Here are this week's pairings

Signature/Celebrity Chef Region

8. Yachtsman Steakhouse- never been to either, but I don't like fish?

Character/Dinner Show Region
9. 'Ohana Best Friends Breakfast featuring Lilo and Stitch - poly + stitch

Table Service Region

50s Prime Time Cafe- one of my favorite restaurants in wow! Try the pot pie!

Counter Service Region

8. Pizzafari -pizza yum!

EEEEKKKKKK....these are some HARD choices......

but if I must....

Signature/Celebrity Chef Region
9. Flying Fish - we ate at both YM and FF on our last trip and they were both WONDERFUL, but if I had to pick just one, I'd say FF was the overall winner with the entire family..

Character/Dinner Show Region
9. 'Ohana Best Friends Breakfast featuring Lilo and Stitch - this is a favorite with our family - tasty food and you get to start your morning off with Stitch!!!

Table Service Region
9. 50s Prime Time Cafe - once again a family FAVORITE!! We ate there 2xs on our last trip!!

Counter Service Region
8. Pizzafari - we havent been to either one but Im going to say we'd be more likely to go here..

Here are my guesses!!!

Signature/Celebrity Chef Region:Yachtsman Steakhouse

Character/Dinner Show Region: 'Ohana Best Friends Breakfast featuring Lilo and Stitch

Table Service Region: Liberty Tree Tavern

Counter Service Region: Pepper Market

The water parks are a lot of fun we try to go once a trip. Hoping to get to Blizzard Beach in September.

WHOA! That is some intense flooding!! The weather this year certainly has been crazy, that's for sure.

As for the Etsy shop, PLEASE let me know when you do this and if you'll be taking special requests. I definitely have a couple of things I'd love for you to make for the girls, and I can vouch for your work and say it is AMAZING and I'd be willing to pay just about anything for such good quality!:goodvibes

On to this week's choices...
Signature/Celebrity Chef Region
Flying Fish

Character/Dinner Show Region
'Ohana Best Friends Breakfast featuring Lilo and Stitch (Could you have possibly made it any harder!?!?!)

Table Service Region
50s Prime Time Cafe

Counter Service Region
Pepper Market--Never tried it, but I've heard it has some interesting things.

:)My vote for #8, Signature- Yachtsman, Character- Akershus, Table- 50's Prime Time and Counter- Pizzafari. I think an Etsy shop is a fantastic idea! I would love to buy some cute, sparkly, ruffley skirts for my youngest daughter.

I have been slacking with keeping up with TR's..because my vacation is in 15 days :cool1::banana::dance3::woohoo: and I just have so much to do to get ready :scared1::eek::scared:
So that said, I am not sure if I missed the time frame to vote on these restaurants...if I did, then please disregard!! :)

Signature/Celebrity Chef Region

8. Yachtsman Steakhouse vs. 9. Flying Fish
hmm...I can't say that I actually have a big opinion of either of these. Having tried neither, I have no favorite. Based on constant glowing reviews, I'll say Yachtsman Steakhouse.

Character/Dinner Show Region

8. Akershus Royal Banquet Hall Princess Storybook Dining vs. 9. 'Ohana Best Friends Breakfast featuring Lilo and Stitch
I have never had breakfast at 'Ohana, though I am sure we will at some point, just to meet Lilo :) But, I have had lunch and dinner at Akershus, and it's the very first stop on our upcoming vacation, so obviously that is my winner. LOVE the parade of princesses coming to the table, the cold buffet is actually pretty unique (I'm no food snob, we hit up the buffets frequently especially at Disney, but a lot of the DisBuffets have the same standard fare, so it is just refreshing to have something a little different) and the dessert trio...oh the dessert trio. Get in my belly

Table Service Region

8. Liberty Tree Tavern vs. 9. 50s Prime Time Cafe
Another category where both would be new to me, but I have had a drink in the bar at 50s and the atmosphere is so cute, so that is my choice!

Counter Service Region

8. Pizzafari vs. 9. Pepper Market
Pizzafari has never done us wrong. Decent pizza, beautiful murals on the walls and an air conditioned respite from the heat on a grueling hot day. It's my pick!

Wow, I just realized that it's Thursday and I haven't made my picks for this round yet! The past week has just flown by!!

Signature/Celebrity Chef Region
Flying Fish

Character/Dinner Show Region
Akershus Royal Banquet Hall Princess Storybook Dining

Table Service Region
50s Prime Time Cafe

Counter Service Region
Pepper Market

It's starting to get harder to choose!

The water parks look like SO much fun!!! Definitely something we want to try on our next trip! :sunny:

We're up to the last match ups in the first round folks! Here are this week's pairings

My picks before the clock strikes 12 and my computer turns back into a pumpkin....

Yachtsman Steakhouse
Akershus Royal Banquet Hall Princess Storybook Dining Princess win out!
50s Prime Time Café Just sounds like fun!
Pepper Market Hear they have good food!

It's definitely getting harder!

Life's been crazy busy here.... so did I miss the ADR guess? Can't seem to find any clues.... so as usual....

I'm clueless! :rotfl: Karen

Flying Fish

O'hana Best Friends Breakfast

This one depends. For lunch, I would go with Liberty Tree Tavern, since it is quite good. The dinner at Liberty Tree Tavern is terrible, so I would go with 50s Prime Time

Pizzafarri. I have heard the Pepper Market is good, but I would only eat there if I was staying at the hotel. It is low on my list of hotels to stay at.

If you are going to 2 (as seems to be the theme), I am guessing you will go to Akerhaus and 50s.

We're trying LTT for the first time this year, I'm glad that we're doing lunch!

I've considered CSR if we stay mod again next year, but I think we'd only stay there because we haven't before.

She is your third cousin-in-law and Maddie's fourth cousin.
You're not an idiot. You're just incredibly sweet.

If you started an Etsy shop, I would totally your customer. I will give you even more business when I finally have a daughter (if it ever happens).

That is a lot of flooding. Once in a while, it floods like that here. Crap got caught in one that left water all the way up to seats. His engine had to be replaced, and it smelled like mildew for weeks. It is great that you got a discount making your room even cheaper than AoA. After I booked my room there, I read that no discounts have been released for them. If a discount does come out for our dates, I will try to talk Crap into upgrading to a Car's Suite.

It is nice that you are checking out the waterparks this trip. Glad you were able to add them for such a good price.

Thanks Kimberly! I really don't understand once we get past 2nd cousins.

Wow! That's a lot of water. We were lucky. The worst of it was only miles from our house.

I think (and could be wrong) that they are discounting suites, but not LM rooms at AoA this summer. I would assume fall would be the same. You might get to stay in the Cars section after all! I'd love to hear about that!

:faint:

:rotfl:

Well, naturally. You can't leave her out!

I don't even know what that means... :rotfl2::lmao::rotfl:

:rotfl2:

That is some crazy weather. We were supposed to get a minimum of 2" of rain yesterday and ended up with basically a light shower that came up to .8" It seems like it gets to the IN line and everything south of I-70 just weakens. Kind of reminding me of the little bit of rain that came through last summer, but never got far enough south to hit us... :worried:

Were you anywhere near that car swallowing sinkhole I saw on the news yesterday? :confused3

That was about 10 miles from here. Crazy isn't it?

My picks:

Yachtsman: Pretty simple. Steak > Fish

Akershus: Just because I have no interest in Lilo and Stitch :confused3

Liberty Tree: Tough matchup. I really like both, but LTT gets the edge. I'm a big fan of the meals that are served family style. :thumbsup2

Pizzafari: Never been there, and it is in the same park as Flame Tree, so I'm not sure I ever will. If Flame Tree is down for a refurb I'd check it out though. The selection of food at Pepper Market is good, the food itself is ok, but the way it is set up is something that I would only describe with words I can't use here. So... been there, done that, ain't going back. :lmao:

I've heard that the set-up at PM is a little weird. It's that bad huh? :rotfl: I'm always confused as to whether it's CS or TS anyway.:confused3

My picks this week are:

Yachtsman Steakhouse
Akershus Royal Banquet Hall Princess Storybook Dining
50s Prime Time Cafe
Pizzafari

Yay for a discount!! That's awesome that it's cheaper than AOA now.

Thanks for playing! We were excited to save some money!

Good gracious! I had no idea about the flooding in Illinois. That's crazy!! Stay safe and enjoy your extra days with Maddie :).

My Tournament of Food Choices:
Yachtsman Steakhouse
'Ohana Best Friends Breakfast - We have an ADR here on May 8th and I am SO excited. It will be our first time eating at 'Ohana!
50's Prime Time Cafe
Pepper Market

We LOVED the Ohana breakfast. I hope that you do too. It was lots of fun.

Well I ain't no Southern gal (although I play one on TV!!!... no I don't) but kmedina's right. Third cousin (in law for you).

:rotfl:

Well if you're going to be something, always try to be the best at it! :goodvibes

So we're talking next year maybe? Or the next? Or the one after that? Or....

Man, life sure gets busy, no?

Exactly! I can almost see the light at the end of the tunnel now though.

Whoa! That's a lot. We live in the Red River valley and get at least some flooding pretty much every year. Our city is protected by a massive dam like structure that I can't type 'cause the DIS will block it out, and we also have a floodway to divert water around the city.

:thumbsup2 Great deal.

Sounds like you are much more prepared for the flooding up there than we are. Shocking amounts of water for us.

You're just a sewing machine! (HAR HAR HAR)

Water parks and more will be awesome! A nice new experience, for sure. :thumbsup2

I'm voting for Yachtsman, Akershus, 50's Prime Time, and Pizzafari.

Prayers for the floods! :sad2:

We're excited to try the water park! And thanks for voting!

Love Yachtsman (ate there for the second time in four months last week).
We've not tried Flying Fish but it is on the list for the future.

Have to go with Princess breakfast (mainly because I don't like Stitch or family style).

Liberty Tree Tavern is the clear winner for us...we had our worse meal of the trip last September at 50's Prime Time.

I don't eat Florida pizza 99% of the time, but it wasn't too bad at Pizzafari. On the other hand, we really like Pepper Market. This one was a toss up for us.

Glad you didn't get a lot of water; we had a little seepage but it is gone now. Mark had to turn around and come home...he couldn't get to work after sitting in Elmhurst in traffic for two hours.

Have a good weekend.

We had a little water in the basement, but at the worst of it all of the roads around our house were closed from the flooding. I think we got lucky!

I’m going with;
Yachtsman
Akershus! The food quality was better there in my opinion, and dinner is great!
Liberty Tree Tavern cause I’ve never been there
Pizzafari! Yum!

Wow that flooding is crazy!! I’m glad you guys are staying out of it! Glad that the discounts applied to your trip and made it super cheap! AoA is just ridiculous right now! The suites are the same cost as a deluxe! Like, no thank you! Awesome that you added in a water park day, that should be super fun!!!

Also I’m going back in May for some auditions, and I do have some friends in entertainment currently. I could see what I could do about having a video of Cinderella herself inviting her, or MAYBE (if Lyssa could swing it) get her to send a video of Rapunzel, Aurora, and Cindy all together, don’t know if that would work. I could also get a letter/invitation signed by all the princesses inviting her?

I can't believe how expensive AoA is right now. It's crazy for a value to be so high! A RGR is cheaper than AoA? Wacky.

Katt that would be amazing! Anything like that would be awesome, but I don't want you to go out of your way to do it. You have auditions to concentrate on!

Great update! :)

Thank you!

I'm in! Can't believe I just found this pre-trip report! I'm going to start mine soon....just need to find time, lol. We are going July 18- Aug 31 and staying at Wilderness Lodge!

It sounds like we'll overlap by a day! I'll check into the PTR soon!

Hi Shannon, I missed the voting last week (we're having a blast here in Disney right now), but my votes wouldn't have changed the winner as I would have voted for the winners anyway. As for the next round...I'm going with yachtsman, ohana, pepper market, and liberty tree tavern. For the ADR game, I'm guessing Tusker House and fultons.

Vacation is a great excuse to miss my silly little game! :rotfl: How was the trip? Are you planning a TR?

Thanks for playing!

Yachtsman Steakhouse
'Ohana Best Friends Breakfast featuring Lilo and Stitch
50s Prime Time Cafe
8. Pizzafari

Thanks for playing!

I would definitely be a customer if you open an Etsy shop! I love the dresses you make!

Here are my guesses:
Yachtsman -- I'd like to go to both Yachtsman and Flying Fish, but I always think Yachtsman would be my restaurant of choice for a good steak.
Akershus -- no rhyme or reason!
50s Prime Time-- no real desire to go to LTT.
Pizzafari -- I'm a fan!

Thank you, I'll let you know when I get it going.
I really want to try Flying Fish too. Maybe next trip.

First, here are my choices:

Flying Fish
Ohana Breakfast
50s Prime Time Café
Pizzafari

I’m so envious of your sewing talent! I made a shirt in high school with a crooked collar and sleeves of different lengths, after which I decided that I should stop sewing forever! :lmao:

Oh my goodness, the flooding! So glad you guys are staying safe and (mostly) dry! :thumbsup2

How cool that you added the water parks! Too bad about losing Coral Reef, but I’ve always wanted to try The Plaza! :beach:

FWIW, here’s how the cousin thing works. I’m a little bit obsessed with working on a family tree right now. And I’m southern.

First cousins have the same grandparents.

Second cousins have the same great-grandparents as you but not the same grandparents. (The child of your cousin is your child's second cousin.)

Third cousins have the same great-great-grandparents, fourth cousins have the same great-great-great-grandparents, and so on.

Removed means that two people are from different generations, so “once removed” means that there is a difference of one generation (your mother's first cousin is your first cousin, once removed). Twice removed means that there is a two-generation difference and so on.

Don’t even get me started on double first cousins!!:rotfl:

I knew I could count on you Southern gals! Thank you so much-you explained it really well!

We are excited to try the Plaza. May not be the best bang for our dining buck, but still nice to try something new.

I couldn't sew at all when I was younger. You might surprise yourself if you tried!

I just signed up for dis but I lurked your last trip report before I ever signed up! LMBO! It was amazing and let me tell u in laws can be frustrating at times! Your little girl is so precious! And I'm in for this TR too!

Thank you so much for joining in! Don't be a stranger!

Oh man! That's a lot of water! I hope that Maddie's school did not suffer from water damage, and that it was just the streets to get there that were flooded.

Yay for adding the Water Parks & More option! I LOVE the water parks at Disney (or anywhere for that matter). I know you said that Maddie is not the most confident swimmer, but I'm sure she'll have a blast. We brought Otaku there in 2009, back when she was terrified of water. She wore a life vest the entire day, only went on slides that had a tube or mat, and stayed close to the edge at the wave pool (we were at Blizzard Beach), but she loved it. She tried to deny it later on, but we had pictures with her smiling to prove that she did enjoy herself. :goodvibes

Time to vote:

Signature/Celebrity Chef Region
Yachtsman Steakhouse (I've recently become obsessed with filet mignon, and hate fish)

Character/Dinner Show Region
'Ohana Best Friends Breakfast featuring Lilo and Stitch (Stitch is my love, and he will always be #1 in my heart)

Table Service Region
50s Prime Time Cafe (it sounds like so much fun!)

Counter Service Region
Pepper Market (this one was hard, but I went with Pepper Market because I'm intrigued by it)

We're excited to try the water parks! I think Maddie will be okay. She's mostly excited for the types of slides that you described, but that's ok. She's doing 2 sessions of swim lessons before we go, so that should help as well.

Oh wow, I'm glad the flooding didn't affect you too much!!! Stay safe and dry!!

Flying Fish
Akershus
LTT
Pepper Market

Thanks for voting! I hope that the wedding planning is going well!

Yay for an Etsy shop, so exciting and I am sure many of us will be shopping with you! :goodvibes

That flooding is crazy! I am in upstate NY and the last couple years we have had some crazy floods, it's pretty scary. I am glad you guys made out without too much water!

This round of ToT is tough!!!
My picks:

Yatchmans, I have heard so many wonderful reviews about both but I think I would choose to eat at Yatchmans first if I had to pick lol!

O'hana, I adore the princesses and I know the interaction is wonderful there, but I love the Poly and O'hana!

Liberty Tree Tavern, 50's is fun but I like LTT.

Pizzafari, never been to Pepper Market but I love stopping in Pizzafari to cool off in AK!

I would not have even thought to open an Etsy shop if it wasn't for the support of you guys. I'm hoping to get moving on it in the next month (or two) I'll definitely let you know!

I coulda sworn I commented on this update already.

I vote for
yachtsman
Akerhaus duh princesses!
liberty tree tavern because I've actually eaten there and it was amazing
Pepper Market because being from NYC, I think I'm automatically wary of pizza from anywhere else

Ah so much sewing! You are so awesome for doing all that.

I hope all is well despite all the flooding!

I love that you're already thinking about next year's trip. Yay for the water parks. We are also planning to go for the first time on our next trip!

I do that all the time!

We LOVED Tusker House too. It quickly became a new must do for us.

I can't wait to try the water parks. Bryan and I would have tried them sooner, but the princess finally wants to. :rotfl:

I'm sure when my daughter is a little older I'll be scouring your Etsy shop!

Yay!

Hey Shannon! I'm back! And caught up! :cool1:

You know I think all your plans are great. :thumbsup2

And I LOVE the maxi dress that you got for Maddie. I so need to find one of those for Willow- she is always asking for a "long" dress.

'Ohana breakfast was one of our best surprises of the last trip. We weren't expecting much but we loved it! Maddie loved getting the leis too!

Here are my guesses!!!

Signature/Celebrity Chef Region:Yachtsman Steakhouse

Character/Dinner Show Region: 'Ohana Best Friends Breakfast featuring Lilo and Stitch

Table Service Region: Liberty Tree Tavern

Counter Service Region: Pepper Market

The water parks are a lot of fun we try to go once a trip. Hoping to get to Blizzard Beach in September.

Table Service Region
50s Prime Time Cafe

Counter Service Region

I promise to let you know! The custom stuff is the most fun for me-I get bored doing the same outfit over and over. You have to promise to keep saying awesome stuff about my outfits though. Deal?:lmao:

It's that time again folks! We've finished up the first round of the Tournament of Food!

Last week's match ups were all pretty close, but in the end only 4 could prevail.

Here are the results of your voting:

Signature/Celebrity Chef

8. Yachtsman Steakhouse edged out 9. Flying Fish.

Character/Dinner Show

8. Akershus Royal Banquet Hall's princess brigade snuck past the Hawaiian competition of 9. 'Ohana Best Friends Breakfast

Table Service

9. 50s Prime Time Cafe won the blast from the past match up against 8. Liberty Tree Tavern

Counter Service

8. Pizzafari proved that pizza and animal murals are too tough for 9. Pepper Market's eclectic set up.

Here is what the bracket looks like now:

And, now we're moving on the next round where the decisions are sure to get much harder.

Signature/Celebrity Chef region features:

1. California Grill vs. 8. Yachtsman Steakhouse

The Character/Dinner Show round finds

1. Chef Mickey vs. 8. Princess Storybook Dining at Akershus Royal Banquet Hall

In the Table Service region

1. 'Ohana vs. 9. 50s Prime Time Cafe

And finally the Counter Service round is an Animal Kingdom counter service battle royale

1. Flame Tree BBQ vs. 8. Pizzafari

Remember to cast your vote for the restaurant that you like better, or the one that you'd most like to try. The best part about the Tournament of Food is that YOU pick the winners!

It's been another crazy week sewing my little fingers off, but the graduation dress is looking awesome, and I hope to have photos to show off next week!

On Day 4 of the trip we're heading to Animal Kingdom! Again we'll be up bright and early because we have an early reservation at Tusker House!

This became a huge favorite of our family after our first visit last spring. We're all excited to try it again. And, since I've decided to purchase PhotoPass+ this time-we'll get the restaurant photo too! (An aside about PP+. As I understand it we'll get a voucher in the mail once I pre-purchase correct? I then take the voucher to MK and turn it in for a special PP+ card. But, where exactly do I take it once I'm in the MK? Is this card like the regular PP card or will I want a lanyard for it? And, do I need to ask the PP photogs at the restaurants to add the photos to my card in addition to receiving the prints?)

Anyway, we should finish eating right around park open so we'll head straight for....

Expedition Everest!

Maddie is tall enough (frankly she was tall enough last trip, she was just being stubborn when they measured her) and is excited to brave the Yeti! She's never been scared of the coaster aspect of the ride-it's the Yeti that's held her back. We've discussed that it's just a pretend picture of him, and we've watched some youtube videos of it. She's pumped.

I'm sure that we'll backtrack to Africa and get in line for the Safari after that. At the risk of drawing the ire of well, everyone, I could honestly skip KS occasionally. I'm just not that into animals I guess, and sometimes I get a little bored riding it. Please don't throw things at me.

I'm hoping that we were smart and grabbed FP for Kali on our way over to KS because that's on Maddie's to-do list as well. Also on the list is our first visit to It's Tough to Be a Bug. I hope she likes it!

Of course, it wouldn't be a Maddie trip without a list of characters to meet in every park. At Animal Kingdom it's Pocahontas, Russel and Dug, and Mickey and the gang in their safari gear.

Besides that we'll also make a point to hit Festival of the Lion King. I wasn't sure we'd take the time for it this trip, but Bryan is the one who spoke up and said he'd really like to see it again.

Hopefully those plans will take us just to lunch time. AK is beautifully themed and I always enjoy taking photos there, but honestly it's our least favorite park. It's a half dayer for us.

I know that buses run to other parks from AK now, but will there be DTD buses available from AK?

The plan is to hit DTD for lunch at Bryan's favorite- Earl of Sandwich. Since Maddie typically doesn't do great at DTD (which is really weird since she loves to shop) we may head back to the resort after lunch for some rest and swimming. If she's doing well, then we shop!

No matter what though we'll be back at DTD for dinner at Fultons! We're really excited to try yet another new restaurant. We all love seafood, so Fultons should be a great match for us.

After dinner we may do a little more shopping, or we may hit Disney Quest for a little while. Disney Quest isn't a must for us, but since admission is included in the WP&M option we're not ruling it out.

You guys did awesome guessing this round. I suspect that I need to make my clues a little harder. :lmao: Here's the updated Scoreboard

Here's the next clue for the Guess My ADR Game:

Day 5 will find us at Epcot for the first time this trip, and we have 3 reservations for the day.

As usual you'll have 2 weeks to make your decisions. Here are the places you can choose from: (the ones in red have already been revealed!)

Akershus Royal Banquet Hall

Be Our Guest

Chefs De France

Chef Mickey

Cinderella's Royal Table

Coral Reef

Fulton's Crab House

Hollywood and Vine

Liberty Tree Tavern

Mama Melrose

Narcoossee's

Ohana

Ohana

Tusker House

Yachtsman Steakhouse

Have a great weekend everyone!

Akershus Royal Banquet Hall dinner
Chefs De France lunch

Ohana breakfast

I can't remember if we are supposed to guess which meal gets which restaurant...so I listed some guesses just in case. And if my guesses are correct...Good lord, that's a lot of food! =)

As for photo pass plus, I ordered it but it hasn't arrived yet. From the pictures I have seen in my May2013 facebook group, you get a disc with the stock pictures and the lanyard as well as some papers in the package from PP, and yes you have to go and turn in a voucher...I am not sure where you actually GO with the voucher, but I would assume that you can hand it in at any park (and I hope so, our first park this trip is Epcot..just for lunch and a quick visit with Mulan hopefully, but still I want to get it taken care of first thing so it's all set.

I meant to comment the other day about the flooding...that is a LOT of water. Holy cow. The town I grew up in is right where the Hudson and Mohawk Rivers meet (which, idk if people outside of upstate NY would have this vast river knowledge :thumbsup2 , but they are fairly large rivers and they tend to get higher in spring when everything melts, or you know..during Hurricanes, which my area was hit with Hurricane Irene). Anyway, so parts of my hometown have flooded over the years, and Irene caused the most recent flooding.
This is another town nearby..they had just awful damage. There are still people living in FEMA trailers in this town :(
Irene-Flooding-600x393.jpg

And this is my hometown:
ahh the photos aren't linkable to the dis but if you are interested this is a flikr w/ some pictures: http://www.flickr.com/photos/julie_frances/6106328931/in/photostream/
And this..
6175946388_0564e2c4bd_b.jpg

Floods can be so devastating, I hope everyone in your area can overcome it all rather quickly.

Sometimes I swear we are twins.
I have the EXACT same questions about PP+, so I'm watching this thread for all the answers:thumbsup2.
We, too, are now booked at Tusker House, but for lunch.
And after lunch, we hope to leave AK, because like you, it's not our favorite park, and half day is enough for us.
Also like you, I would be fine with skipping the safari, but I think my kids might kill me.
Yes, I will keep saying awesome things about your sewing skills. Definite deal!

Here are my choices for the next round. Surprisingly, this one wasn't too tough for me:
Signature/Celebrity Chef region features:
California Grill--Still waiting on them to open up reservations for this for September.

The Character/Dinner Show round:
Princess Storybook Dining at Akershus Royal Banquet Hall--You remember the craziness that was Chef Mickey's our last trip?? So, yeah. Princesses all the way.

In the Table Service region:

'Ohana--Since I just wrote about our love and adoration for this place, it should come as no surprise!!

And finally the Counter Service round:
Pizzafari--because AIR CONDITIONING! AK is the hottest place on earth...tied with World Showcase in the afternoon.

My choices last round did not prove to be the popular ones, so maybe mine will win out this time!

I've heard that the set-up at PM is a little weird. It's that bad huh? :rotfl: I'm always confused as to whether it's CS or TS anyway.:confused3
It is... Some stations tend to have longer lines than others. I think my sister was done eating before I ever even got back to the table with food. It just felt like we got a table, scattered, and then ate as we got our food. The line to pay was the worst part though. Incredibly slow.

I will give credit where it is due though. Part of the reason lines can back up at the food stations are because they will make it right there as you order it and make it the way you want it. I can't complain about the quality for a QS meal.

Tournament votes:

Yachtsman - I like the upset here. Would love to try CG sometime, but steak always beats sushi.

Chef Mickey - Sorry, just not that into the princesses and I like the CM buffet for both breakfast and dinner.

Ohana - Just because you get endless supplies of meat delivered to your table.

Flame Tree - There's nothing to discuss here.

ADR Guesses...

Dang, you did make your clue a little bit harder. I'm going to guess Akershus, Chefs de France and Narcoosees.

Voting for California Grill, Chef Mickey's (if I was voting on waiters, I'd say Akershus for sure :upsidedow), 'Ohana, and Pizzafari. I'm gonna guess that you'll be in Epcot for two of the meals and then head over to a resort for dinner. So I'll guess Akershus breakfast (salami), Chefs de France, and Narcoossee's. I would guess 'Ohana, but my instinct is you won't have enough room for it after two other ADRs that day. We'll see!
