We are on our way to the port and hoping to upgrade. We will arrive in just a few mins and will certainly be early enough to try! Wish us luck!

Arrived at the port about 9:30. Waited in the upstairs deck 3 garage entrance until 10am. They opened let us across the bridge at 10am and then we waited there until 10:30 am for them to allow us through security. We were not the first guests into the terminal, but we were concierge already and we were the first guests to check the supervisors desk for an upgrade.

We upgraded from a V concierge level family verandah to a T one bedroom suite. So excited!!!

Never free.....and the cost varies. It IS less than if you'd booked the higher category in the beginning, but it's still generally at least another $1000.....depending on the category you're at to begin with, and the category you upgrade to.

It was $300 to upgrade from V to T. But we are just on the three day cruise. We are loving it!

Oops....yeah, sorry....I forgot to factor in the length of the cruise in my post above. That makes a difference, too.
