WBPC May 6th 2013 Wonder

We are super excited to have our first Veranda. Cat 5 - Stateroom 7094. :cool1:

This is our 5th cruise. We have had three prior inside staterooms and one Oceanview stateroom. We said we would never get an Oceanview again, as we didn't think it was worth the extra money.

We are glad we chose to switch to VGT, even with the not knowing where our stateroom would be. And we saved money too. :yay:

The Panama Canal is on my "bucket list" and we are excited to do it with a Veranda stateroom. :dance3:

I am a little worried :scratchin about going back to an inside stateroom for our next cruise, but I will enjoy the anticipation :rotfl: of our first Veranda now, and worry about the next cruise later! :thumbsup2

I am very close to my pre-cruise weight goal. :rolleyes1
I am jogging every other day now and got in a 5 mile jog today.

For the two weeks prior to our cruise I have given up dessert, which makes me a "little" grumpy. :crazy2:

I know what you mean when it comes to a verandah. This is our first one in 12 cruises. All others have been inside. Honestly, I am not worried about going back to a inside. I know I am only in the verandah room because of the great rate for travel industry people. If it comes up again I will of course always change, but if it doesn't, it's alright.

:dance3::cheer2::yay: Cruise 14 and our first verandah too! :dance3: And we are excited! :yay: We also upgraded at the port to an oceanview once and decided it really was not worth the extra $$ to us. But, back to our inside next October for the Southern! :)

Enjoy your southern. I was really excited to hear it was going to be in the cards, but I don't like the itinerary. To many ports not enough sea day, but to each their own. I hope you enjoy.

We love sea days, we love new ports and we really, really loved the 2 ports we have already been to on this itinerary. It's all good with us, just a different experience for each, but all good. :thumbsup2

:cool1::cool1: The Dozen Days Dance! :cool1::cool1: (not quite Single Digit Dance, but it will do...)

Jackson's grammie & Lexa - I still need your cabin #'s for the Roaming Jessica magnet - and if anyone else wants to join in - she still has a few spots on her schedule!

We're going out of town this weekend, so are scrambling to get everything ready for the big trip (including two episodes of the podcast) - I'm afraid next week is going to be SO SLOW!

7018. The first ever time(9th cruise) that we have been at the front of the ship. Not the best for us as we like the back and the convenience of being there, but could be worse I suppose. Oh and we are a connecting so not thrilled with that but we made the choice to go for the cheap rate so knew it was a gamble.

Marilyn, this is so funny since you are echoing my feelings exactly! 7528, first time ever we have been at the front of the ship because usually we are always aft ... And not so thrilled with the fact that we have a connecting room but we realize that that was the gamble, so still totally happy with what we got for that cheap rate. :goodvibes

(This all said, it would have been funny if we had been connected to each other, but we are on the other side of deck 7 :thumbsup2)

We had a connecting once when we booked one of the secret porthole rooms on 5 and did not find any trouble with it. Maybe we just had quiet neighbors (and we surely were quiet neighbors for them!). Hopefully, it will be fine for you both also.pixiedust:

To be honest we have had noise through even without a connecting door. I can't remember if it was our last TA or PC but there was a large group over about 6 rooms and we were in the middle:rolleyes2:rotfl2:. We did have a few problems for a while till the party atmosphere settled. There were quite a few children and teens of varying ages. Another time we had a couple of little children next door and they banged their beds and shouted and screamed, and you could tell they were jumping up and down on the sofa at times. For some reason we could hear their parents a lot too - must just have had that tone of voice that carried. Those are the only two times out of 11 cruises(not all DCL) that we have heard anything from neighbours. Strange.

I do fear our neighbours might hear John snoring though so we get our own back!!:rotfl:

So looking forward to this cruise. Somehow getting the room number makes such a difference to things. I hadn't realised how much till today.:cool1::cool1::cool1:

Not thrilled it connects, but thrilled it's forward...and we don't have to try for an upgrade at port!!! Any DIS neighbours near us?

Oh...thanks, Lexa, for the SAS info.:)

We are above and next door to you 7018 and like you not keen on the connecting bit. Why do you like the front of the ship? I only ask because we like nearer the back though not right at the back.:rotfl2: This is our first time at the front.

Wow, they seem to have given out a lot of the connecting rooms to us *GT people here! I have yet to see someone find his "other half" here, though. Or is anybody here in 7530?

Well we are extremely quiet neighbours to have(other than John snoring) and also we don't smoke either.

I'm 7116. Looks like whistler my closest neighbor . Yay !

We are in 5626 next door to Agent J. Looks like a quiet area and a quick trip up the stairs to the Mickey Pool where I will be spending many hours:)

To all the FE participants...I ended up only able to get in 2 groups but at the last minute decided on another FE gift to bring so all of you will be getting a little something from us. Just did not want you to panic when you get something from someone not on your list! It's a freebee!!pixiedust:

I think a few people have mentioned renting a car from FLL to MIA. I just wanted to shre that I was able to get a great rate from Alamo on a car from FLL to MIA using the Visa contract code 7015504. There is also a coupon code AU2729MJW for a free upgrade for compact through midsize.
