Hi I have been waiting as well. I did notice that the summer discounts came out on the last day you could take atvantage of the spring discount. So the summer one says you can book until June something. Do you think they will not release anything until then? I am also waiting on dates for the Halloween party. We are going in late Sept. They are really making planning hard on people it seems.

You wont hear anything till the booking window is over for the current promotion which ends June 14. or at least mid May

That's not really true, they run simultaneously discounts all of the time. There's simply no hard and fast rule they only release promos after other promos have ended.

The Halloween and Christmas party dates usually go on sale around May 1. They usually release the free dining discounts in March or April, but it had been as late as May in the past and will probably be this year also.

I booked our September trip last year on May 18th with the second roll out of summer discounts. The discount was announced atleast a week or two before I booked, so I'm hoping Disney follows the same sort of timing this year as they did last year!

I am impatiently waiting, too. Either way, we will be going in October. I'm ready to buy airfare (darn prices keep going up) but whether or not I can get FD will depend on how many days we stay.

It looks like with the airfare going up, we'll have to fly there a day earlier. I really don't want to add the dining plan for the first day (we arrive at night, and have trouble using all our credits the way it is), so hoping I can book room-only for the first night (if no FD) and book our package for the following day (with the QDP & park tickets)?

Argh...this was so much easier before I knew FD might actually be a possibility for our dates, and when the airfare was cheaper a few days ago.

Guess I'll go ahead and book the flights and hope for the best. Here's wishing us all some pixie dust!

I too feel like I'm going to loose it! This is agonizing! Not only is my trip on the line but I have at least 3 clients that will cancel their trips if FD doesn't come out and one already has 30% off at AKL but FD would save them much more!

I've set up a temp reservation for the marathon weekend with one of the 2 travel agencies I've seen recommended on this board. I'm going to let my agent worry about the discounts for me.

Last year I was already booked by the end of March for November and then sometime in April FD for September came out and I called my TA and she changed our ressie to September (our dates were very flexible) and had the FD promotion added as well. I remember because when MNSSHP tickets went on sale (beginning of May) I bought ours on the first day that they were available for the very first party. I am still holding out hope for FD, although dh and I have talked about going somewhere else if FD isn't offered. Regardless, I'm certain that some type of discount will be available, which is better than nothing. If FD is announced then I am sure that we will go ahead and go. We had decided that no matter what was offered (or not offered) that we would go anyway because we've budgeted for it, but there are other places that dh and dd would like to go to as well, so no FD might just be a deal breaker this year for us.

I believe with FD you have to book your room at rack rate, so I dont think they will be able to have both 30% off plus FD. It would be great if this were possible!

Also, are they booked for 30% off in September?? I ask because we will be staying at AKL 9/13-9/21 and are hoping for a room discount!
