2013 Dis Exclusive BackstageMagic Adventure 6/9 - 6/14/13

Has anyone decided on doing the WB tour on Saturday before? I was just curious if anyone was interested in maybe picking the same time slot. I figured I would do one of the later times in the day in case there are flight delays. I don't want to do it on Sunday because we only want to keep the rental car for 24 hours so I figured we would spend Sunday wandering around the Loews hotel area looking for stars and hand prints. And then maybe resting a bit before excitement overload begins. :)

That sounds like fun but we arrive Friday and plan on driving to San Diego on Saturday and spending the day there. Sunday we return our rental car at noon so we will also be without a vehicle and hanging out in the area around the loews. How about a meet up for breakfast on Sunday morning? Where? Is the Griddle Cafe (someone mentioned this on chat the other night) close to the hotel?

I'm going to try and finalise what I'm doing on my pre days over the next couple of weeks. But I do want to do the Warner Brothers tour just need decide when.

Seems like my ABD box might of arrived. Slight problem is that it has arrived at my family home, going to have to get it re-delivered which will take a few days.

Well, I ended up calling up, since the website didn't seem to be working, and booked two tickets for the WB studio tour Sunday morning @ 8:30 AM. Should give us time to finish the tour and hopefully get some lunch. I think we need to drop the car at the hotel by either 1 PM or 2PM. (I forget if they close at 1 or 2 PM.)

We're not really looking to meet up with anyone prior to the tour on Sunday, but if anyone does end up booking the Sunday AM WB tour, let us know and we'll look for you.

I think the Griddle Cafe is about 2 miles or a 30 minute walk from the hotel so not really that close.

No box here yet...we've agreed to not open it until we are both there and DD is asleep. She'll be going to bed at 6 PM when it shows up! ;)

We'll be out by the airport on Sunday morning, probably have breakfast at the hotel. We'll be getting to Loew's though by noonish to drop off the car.

I wanted to go to San Diego but I just think it's too much for this trip.

Got our box yesterday.:cool1:
We are arriving Saturday afternoon. My plan is to have time to do a Graumann's tour, hang out at H & H area-see walk of fame etc & maybe see a movie at the El Capitan on Saturday & to have dinner at 25 degrees at the Roosevelt. Sunday we are renting a car & driving to the beach, probably going to Griffith Park & maybe a few other things if we have time.
I would like to do WB tour but we are doing so much other similar stuff not sure I can talk Eric into another studio tour.

No box again today. WHY WHY WHY!

Don't say what's in it, but is the box worth getting excited about, or getting REALLY excited about.

It's fun but not worth waiting by the mailbox for.

I was on the computer and the UPS man did a ding-dong-ditch and here's what he left on the porch!

Now just have to wait for Ulana to get home.

It DOES make the trip seem very, very real!

As Kevin stated, the box does mean the trip is coming up fast! I look at it as added value...and don't take too much stock in the contents of the box.

The pictures of The Box look significantly smaller than what we got last year.
