So this is a bit odd. But I was wondering if anyone knows which resorts offer the refillable mugs with the green lid and handle or if they are even still making them? I have a little guy who is very particular and would love a green one. Not to mention we have a party of 10 so the more color options the better

Green lids and handles are long gone. It was a alternate color used at All-Star Sports during 2011. Current choices are black, blue, and pink.

Green was also briefly available at Pop Century in Sept. 2011. If I had known it was going to be in such demand I would have bought one but I did get the elusive purple and orange which are also long gone.

Question: we are going to DW in a few days and we will have the DP and thus getting the mugs for me, wife and DD6 but not for my son who is only 2. We have mugs from our first trip last year. Can we bring one for my son to drink from? He does not drink anything that the mugs are for, just milk, juice or water. I know he will want one since we will have them and I don't want to pay $15 for a cup. I just dont want anyone to see us with one from last year and think we are stealing drinks.

I have 4 from 2011, 9 from 2012, and 1 from last month. I was looking forward to a new design like you wouldn't believe! But I guess that's $15 I'll save this trip - I'm not buying one this trip, I'm bringing my Diet Dew to keep in the fridge instead. I guess I'll just hope for a new design before my fall/winter trips.

The design hasn't changed since last year so no one will know he's using an old one, and besides, people at Disney resorts run around with all manner of travel mugs for their beverages. Unless you were using the mug at the machine no one would think twice about it being an old style even if they had changed this year.

Right, yellow lid/handle with the current design was from the early part of 2011. Replaced by black later that year.

Still hoping for new color options or a new design (design preferred!) for October. We have the DDP, so we will wind up with 4 mugs for 3 people. I wish they would consider a 4 person family and at least provide 4 colors.

I agree!!! But for now it is black for my hubby, blue for my boys and pink for me.

I did read the rules and I don't want to read through 125 pages of particularities, but I have a question. We get a reusable mug with the DDP from what I understand, so is it still restricted to the resort where I am staying? So I couldn't say bring it to dinner at another resort right?

Correct. The mug is only for use at your resort for the duration of that stay.

We go in November also and have the same mugs from our two trips last year. Here is hopeing we get new ones !
