Good news! My friend just got approved to stay until August. She has never used her discount. How much is the discount for July 13? We already have tickets from UNdercover Tourist. Do we qualify for dining plan? What is the discount on dining, tickets, etc? I'm excited She's going to ask her room mate how it works and will let me know. Anyone here know?

It is all on the hub. The discounts are always changing.

If she isn't using her main gates to get you in then tickets are 10% off. Also for everything except food and friends and family she has to pay. So you would have to give her cash or a gift card for any merchandise or tickets or anything.

Depends on availability. For awhile AoA was not allowed for CM discounts but not that it has been open for almost a year it may be open.

Know that values are sold the quickest and the longer you wait to book the less rooms if any will be available to book.

LMs have been excluded from the deeper discounts. I don't see that changing this year. Friends and family is 40% for July right now with a full price DP.

D you have to get everything a la carte (DDP, room, tix and hopper) or can you do a package? Also, what are the percentages off for each or is it just one discount off everything as a package.

Thanks to all who commented re: my question about the availability of the 50% discount! As for calling my CM friend to get him to check daily (or weekly) even, I probably would not do that, for fear of bugging him to death!!

She should be able to discount but a month prior has no guarantees of availability. If it is your daughter it will save you to put her on the reservation and send her the money to pay for it. If she is on the reservation she can book the highest CM discount but the way she pays has to be In her name. If you just want the F&F discount you can pay with your own CC.

Ticket discounts are 10% and there is a limit to how many she can buy. It is either a cash purchase or CC in her name.

Food is 20% or higher. Food does not have to be paid for by her she just has to be present. Also there is an automatic 18% tip added to all CM discounts for food.

What is the usual F&F discount for resorts? If she is on the ressie wouldn't she need to be in the room? I am not sure what her schedule would be so staying with us may not work out. The res would have to be in her name and she would need to be there to get the CM discount. I wouldn't feel comfortable adding her just to get a higher discount since the reservation will be tied to her ID. The normal friends and family discount is 40% and as dates get closer they may drop it down to 50%. You can switch it around just like a normal res when discounts come out.

Earlier in the thread it was stated the regular discount has included LM rooms, but the deeper (released closer to the date/includes DP discount) discounts have excluded them.

Suites are included in all.

She emailed and said the F & F discount won't work on the LM rooms, but she thinks she can get a suite for the 40% off. She's new and this is the first time she's used it. I hate to keep bugging her but it's killing me--I want to get a cars suite reserved with that discount.

Then.. hoping for some kind of discount on the dining plan. Any CM on here know if that ever happens in July?

Is that something I'll be able to call and check or does she have to do that?
