April 28th Dream Bahamas Cruise

Okay I'm taking a chance and saying that spring might be here in anchorage. It's supposed to be in the low 40s all week. Last time we reached the upper 30s for a few days we had two winter storms the next week. It's getting sunny though...we're up to 15 hours of sunlight!
On a packing note....that's my job for Saturday. Right now it's all in piles

So yesterday I realised that we were less than 10 days away from getting in the car and heading down the highway. Every time I recalled this little fact during the day I had a mild panic attack... in a good way, an OMG this is actually going to happen kinda deal where I forget to breathe, my heart pounds and the room spins. Got all our suitcases packed, now I just have to clean the house for the house sitter!

It's just the two of us and I'm bringing two spary bottles and one mini bottle to go in the carry on (we both burn easily though). You can always buy more on the ship for about $15.

I'm trying to avoid that $15 if I can, haha we burn pretty easily too, so I want to make sure we've got enough, but I don't want to go too crazy

Maybe bring two bottles. Are you doing any pre/post cruise traveling in sunny Florida? If so, maybe bring three bottles, so you can reapply often.

I feel as though I will never get my fish extender gifts completed, if I don't get them done this weekend I'm pretty sure I might be to "sick" to go to work next week

Don't stress out ladies!! Just keep calm and think Disney. It's totally okay to call in "sick" to take care of vacation stuff. I'll be crazy this weekend too though--the Alaska Aces (ECHL) are playing in round 2 of the playoffs Friday and Saturday, so on top of those games I also have laundry, packing, photo editing (for a slideshow for work) and a classroom newsletter to write (for work).

In case anyone decides to upgrade at port or changes rooms or just wants to say "hi," I will have a dry erase board on my door (9669). We are not planning on upgrading at port--we're looking forward to trying out the virtual porthole for the first time!

I logged on this morning only to find out her shop is now CLOSED !! So a week away until we leave, does anyone have any suggestions on what I should do...I'm soooo upset

Oh no! There are some posts on the board about a duct tape/no sew FE. I bought mine pocket holder from IKEA for $5 and just decorated it. Do you live near an IKEA?

Oh no!! You can also use a bag. In the past, I have seen disney bags (like the reusable shopping ones).

Yay! Next week we will be driving down to sunny Florida!! Cannot wait! Finishing FE's/gifts this weekend (I hope! ) we are taking Sam to Legoland Atlanta tomorrow (his 4th bday is Monday) so he's excited about that. Mickey will be calling him Monday night - so excited for that bc that's when he finds out about the cruise!!

One week from now our flight takes off(10:05)!!!! It's almost here.

Running pre-trip errands this weekend and then just 5 more days of work. We are both so excited for our first Disney cruise.
