Would anyone be able to point me to reviews of business class? I'm thinking about booking one of these categories but since search isn't working right now, I'd like to be able to read reviews and can't find them.

I have a 12 year old girl that I know is going to want to spend a lot of time at the Dig Site, so I'm leaning toward business class - close, right?

Thank you!

Personally, I wouldn't spend the extra money. We were in Casitas 5. I did not think the walk was bad to either El Centro or the Dig site and what I LOVED the most was that we were at bus stop 2, which as you probably know is the first stop. We always got a seat and we loved being the first on.

I feel like this might be a dumb question, lol, but can I use my own refillable type mug to get ice water at the drink station? Or.. do they not have a drink station because of how it's set up with someone getting your drink for you? If you don't ask for a drink, do you still have to tip them?

Thanks, I know it's a little more but I've stayed at CSR before, in the Ranchos, thought I'd try out the club service for fun. I like the Casitas area too, glad you enjoyed your trip!

Yes, you can fill your mug with ice water (if you like the taste of LBV/Orlando water) :rotfl:

The refill station is in Rix or at the pool bar. :thumbsup2

The only place where your drinks are filled for you is if you are eating in Pepper Market.

If you use the Brita water bottles the water will taste fine. I know there are some drink stations in WDW that have filtered water. I'm not sure if they are in resorts.

Thanks. We're big water drinkers and didn't want to have to buy the mug to get it.

I'll look for one of those. Is the water different at the CS at the parks then at the resorts? Never noticed too bad of a taste but we did live in FL for a while so maybe I got used to it.

12 more days! :cool1:

I'm not sure if the water is different b/c we've always used our bottles. I just remember reading on here that there were a few drink stations/counter services in the parks that had filtered water. Hopefully someone else knows.
Give us a resort report when you get back.

I just returned from a visit to Coronado Springs Business Class. All in all it was worth the money to me, $20 extra per night for me. Now I did ask at check if I my key would work in the business lounge and they had not set it up right, so it took a few managers and about 20 minutes to get it figured out. I'm glad I asked and didn't have to return later. The check in desk is just not used to the Business Class yet I guess.
I was there for a conference, so I didn't always go in the morning for breakfast, since breakfast was included with my conference, but I did visit a few times and enjoyed the fruit and cereal. I went almost every night for snacks and drinks and that was fun. One night my daughter and I spent a few hours in there, filling out some paperwork, drinking and chatting with the concierge staff.
I did not find a self serve refill station at the Dig Site, but the bar filled up the mugs. Maybe it was there and I just didn't find it?
This was my first time at Coronado, I really liked it, I usually stay in DVC properties, so I wondered it I would miss anything. I did miss a microwave, I might have been able to request it though.
And I missed having a table. I just don't use a desk much, I usually work from bed when on a trip!
I used the robe!
I jogged around the lake a few times a day, so once you do that, the property doesn't seem so large.
I'd be happy to answer specific questions.

It was worth it for me and dd18! The bus stop #1 was the closest bus stop I have ever had at any resort. It is a short walk to dig site or to pepper market. The offerings were fresh and tasty in the lounge. It was not crowded and we were there during Easter break. The staff was great. 3 of us asked for to go drinks at night at the same time. I got a generous sangria in plastic to go and walked the grounds with dd. I would definitely do again. We transferred to poly club after and honestly the food offerings were quality wise just as good just not as many things offered.

My sister, mom, and I booked our Coronado room through Priceline. Does this mean we can't make a request for which building to stay in until we arrive?

We will be arriving by 9:30 am. If our room isn't ready, will we be able to use the facilities at the resort?

Ranchos 7B - which room numbers are closest to the dig site, or face the quiet pool?

Do even # rooms face the water or pool ?

Do odd # rooms face gardens or parking lots?

If the room # ends in a 1 is it on the first floor then if ...2 = 2nd floor & 3 = 3rd floor?

Ranchos 7B #'s are 7500 - 7793 - which # is on which side of the building ?

Ranchos 7B rooms 76## are somewhere between the two sets of numbers?

Are rooms with 75## closest to the dig site and rooms with 77## closest to the parking lot?

Would this be similar to other buildings at CSR?

Yes you will be able to go to the pool. They will call you when your room is ready. We arrived around 11 and were able to get our room. They can hold your luggage and deliver it to the room.

Rooms are sequential, so it's not like typical hotels where odd numbers are on one side and evens on the other. We stayed in #7541 on one trip; #7540 was on one side of us, #7542 on the other.

The first number of the room designates the building. Typically, the second number will designate the floor number, i.e., in Ranchos 7A, rooms that start with 71XX are on the first floor of Ranchos 7A. Since there is a Ranchos 7B, the first floor rooms are 75XX, second floor rooms are 76XX and third floor rooms are 77XX. The last two digits are sequential and number the rooms. I am not sure where the starting point is.

We were in Room 7541. We were on the first floor and faced the quiet pool - literally about a dozen steps from it. It was very close to the parking lot and bus stop, also. To get to the Dig Site, we walked right by the quiet pool, down the steps to the sidewalk and it was maybe 2 minutes. To get to El Centro, we went the same way, but kept walking by the entrance of the Dig Site, crossed the bridge and were right there by the far end of El Centro. It took us almost exactly 10 minutes from room to the door by the gift shop.

I hope this helps you understand the numbering system.

Thanks very much for your review! :goodvibes CSR does have microwaves upon request - first come, first served. They are available at no charge.

No self-serve mug refill at the Dig Site, but as you learned, they are happy to fill them for you.

Glad you enjoyed your stay!

Title says it all - reserved a preferred room last August reserved the preferred section but was about as far away from the main area as you can be in preferred and equally as far away from the dig site as you can be. As the solo adult with two kids in mid August it was less than ideal.

That said we loved the room, the pool area, the Maya Grill, pepper market and the bus service - so am I crazy to try again this August with the Business class room? Yes the morning/evening snacks are fun but my main reason for spending the extra $ is the building guarantee.

Is the building truly as close to the main area as it looks and how close is the dig sit via what looks like a bridge/walkway?

I am currently holding a reservation for BC but would switch in a heartbeat if I truly felt like the business class location is as close to the main area/pool area as it appears. Any reviews ideas suggestions are truly appreciated!

Yes it's close to main building. I think as close as you can get. The pool was just across the bridge- maybe 3-4 min walk. It wasn't super close but not too terribly far either.

Yes, it is as close as it looks. 2 mins to the pool, 2 mins to the busstop, 2-3 mins to Pepper Market, 2 mins to quiet pool and laundry.
