Early morning transportation to DTD...

We have a 9am appt at BBB in DTD. We're staying POR. I believe you can't use their boat transportation to DTD until 10am. How early should I try to catch a bus to DTD? Or would it be better to try to TTC to catch a bus to DTD? What is my best option? HELP!!

I am not 100% sure, but I don't believe the buses to DTD start until 9:30 or 10. A cab would be a good option and probably about $12-$15.

We've never gone to DTD that early, hopefully someone who has will be along to correct me if I'm wrong.

That is correct; I have taken the bus to DTD from POR several times and it have never arrived before 9:00 am.

While this is a fairly informative site, you do realize it's not an 'official' site, right?
This site actually says that the resort to parks buses start running an hour prior to park opening, and that's completely wrong...they start by 6:30am, every day!!
So, even if the buses do start running to DTD by 8:30, they are not going to be as frequent as regular buses. And....the buses may actually be servicing Typhoon Lagoon, with a stop at DTD. There isn't much reason to be at DTD that early, but people are heading to TL for the day.
If I had to be at DTD for 9am, I would take a cab.

And I undestand that....we just have to be very careful what sites we direct people to. There are sites out there that give incorrect info, and we don't want our readers to do anything based on incorrect info. So, when a site says that buses to DTD start at 8:30, but also say that buses start running to parks an hour prior to park opening? I know, for a fact that one of those statements is not true. So, want others to realize that the rest of the info may not be accurate.
That was my only reason for posting. Sorry if my posting ruffled any feathers...not my intent.

I just want to point out that POR is quite close to DTD, so a cab should not cost much.

No, I am just saying I have been going to DTD and the first bus that showed up was always around 9:00 am.

I would be standing out about 8:40 or so. I never went where I had to be there by 9:00 am; I was always just meandering over there.

You might try heading out to the bus stop a little before 8:30. If there is a bus, take it. If not, grab a cab. You can ask at check in to get (hopefully) accurate info for your stay.
